I remember hearing something in the late 2000s about the muppets coming back but nothing came of it as far as I can remember. I’m glad they at least had a comeback a few years later.
I remember playing a Phineas and Ferb game on Disney Channel Interactive that I fount as a kid when I random decided to put in 100 on the guide. I don't remember exactly what the game was like but I do remember that it was fun. I remember playing a few other games on there as well but I can't remember them right off hand.
Dude, take it from me, the sheer amount of unproduced Muppet projects is staggering. And I'm talking about JUST the Muppet Show Muppet brand that Disney currently owns. There was a real push to get something out since 2002 or so (back before the sale to Disney), and there were so many pitches after the ratings success of A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie that it was heartbreaking to see nothing come out of it until the disappointing and tacky Muppet Wizard of Oz. There were several made for TV movie pitches (all better than Wizard of Oz was), a couple TV show concepts, and even 2 cartoon series that were pitched to them.
One interesting piece of lost Disney TV media is a pilot called Very important house, made by Invader Zim’s creator. It wasn’t picked up and sadly wasn’t released.
The Dumbo show interests me the most, it's crazy to think that a show with such a high production value is missing over 100 episodes and has barely any decent quality footage online.
From what I’ve seen it looks like it’s had a lot of effort put into it so I really hope it ends up on Disney+ at some point for the sake of preservation!
There is one that you should add if you do Disney Junior lost media: full Happy Monster Band shorts. All the songs are on Disney Junior's official channel, but every episode has a little "skit" before & after the songs: before the song, they would have the band speak in kid voices, while introducing the lesson (e.g.: practicing, doing chores, being a friend, it's okay to cry, and the benefits of working as a team, to name a few), and the end consisted of three judges, who I can only assume were parodies of America's Got Talent judges, named Laa, Dee, & Daa. Each would have a unique reaction to each performance: I don't presently recall what Laa would do, but Dee would say a figure of speech ("through the roof", "gone bananas", those types) and actually DO those things literally, and Daa would act as a sort of Simon Cowell parody, with starting to say something (usually consisting with "What's The Deal With..." & then just as people think he's about to say something awful, he says something positive about the subject of the song. How are they lost? Well, the "Direct From Monster Land" ones don't have the parts at the beginning and end I mentioned above (they removed them when Playhouse Disney rebranded) & the only "full" shorts are titled "Dirty Smelly Monster Chores" & "Even Monsters Cry Sometimes". Also, one episode of World Tour isn't on RUclips, and I don't know how to find it--the episode being "The Italian Way"
I just had a great idea! How about for next year’s April Fools, you make a video about lost media that you made up/found on the Lost Media Idea Wiki (yes, that’s a thing).
The cancelled Muppets series reminded me of the Muppet Disney Channel shorts that aired in the mid-2000s. I forgot the actual name of the series of shorts. I thought one of those cancelled Muppet series were adapting those shorts into a full series.
Very amazing video! Your lost media always amaze me which I was really surprise you cover about the canceled Muppet show reboot in my opinion despite the relationship of the Muppets and Disney, I personally would love had to see a reboot if it ever did pull through but with Muppet Tonight and the 2015 series, I wouldn't think it would improve better than the original Muppet show. Overall great video keep up the amazing work and for future if possible would love to see you discuss more of the Muppet especially with some the lost media they had over the year
@@TheShyNarwhal Sweet! Can't wait I've been watching numerous lost media Muppet and read several on Muppet wiki page some of them seem interesting which some of them kinda had a clip which I guess consider seeing the light of day but there are several of lost media I wanna see from the Muppet

It’s a shame that the ABC show only lasted one season.
There was a Muppets movie made in the early 2010s so it might've been that
@@anidiot8708 Plus they did have that one show on DIsney Plus, and I heard there are plans for a special for Disney+ called Muppet Haunted Mansion.

I should mention that the show Kermit made his first appearance in called Sam & Friends, is also largely lost.
I really do hope all lost media is found
Sadly it won’t happen because of storage practices & wiping of tapes.
Also I have a request...
Can you do lost Anime Or Manga?
Yes! I have it on my list of videos I want to make! :)
Awesome video!! Lost media has always fascinated me, so I’m really grateful I discovered this channel!
