I loved your video! This has been the most clear explanatory video about what probing is. I feel identifyed with the patient you mentioned. During the last 18 months I have been trying many treatments such as restasis, xiidra, warm compresses, omega 3 for dry eye, google glasses to avoid wind, humidifier, sunglases all the time since I developed an extra light sensitivity, gluten & dairy free diet, IPL, lipiflow, vitamin A. I have spent a lot of money since IPL and lipiflow are not covered by the health insurance. During the last year my synthoms have improved a little bit, but I am still in strong disconfort and even pain sometimes. I work all long day on the screen which makes this more difficult even. I live in Toronto, so recently I landed with a specialist in dry eye who recommended the probing treatment for my case. I am going to have it by the end of June, so hopefully I will feel better after many months of been suffering with this horrible condition. Thanks a lot for your helpful video! Many blessings.

Hi Dr, do you think the probing mostly benefits the patients whose oil is thick toothpaste like? My son’s oil not thick just too low, he already had the probing a year ago but nothing changed, so do you advise he do it again? Thank you!
