I like the new sticker design on the body. Nice set-up so far. I swapted my 1060 out, too. They're good. But mine got issues with the racing motor. Looking forward for your next runs.

Thanks very much for the kind comment. I'm interested to see how far the 1060 can be pushed. If I can get the run time, I want to run it in its current configuration with the gearing changes fitted that I haven't tested yet. Then repeat the test with just swapping the 1060 for the Mtroniks ESC and see if there is any speed difference.

Nice intro, Tony! I'm curious as to your connection with Goodwood though, seems you might work there as it's your "playground"?!?!?! And oh no you can't possibly use that Super Modified motor, no way have I got anything as fast as that!!! 😅😅 BTW I love that Alitalia livery too. All the best pal and go well! 😎😎🤘🤘

Thanks Mark, I could've done with borrowing Rob for camera duty! I'm a member of the Goodwood road racing club, but my work is just round the corner from the track so I can pop in after work. There are no restrictions on getting in until the gates are closed in the evening. I often walk a lap of the track perimeter in the evenings. Yes two minds whether to run the Super Modified. I do have another new Unicorn motor under lock and key, but even less likely to use that. Might reveal in a future video!

    Hi tony. 👋
"Poor financial decisions" 🤣🤣 yeah, I'm with you there. Lol
Your Fiat body looks stunninning. Way better than my beat up escort and beetle shells.
All the best from Dougiebob RC.

Nice to meet you, Tony. I'm Fil. I also have a mild to moderate problem with RC cars. We should be friends! :)

I mena the hello kitty sticker is worth at least 2addtional mph all by itself so you are ahead of the game already! The Alitalia body looks great, I can understand why you chose another for the speed runs to save it from damage! Have fun with it and best of luck to you!

Hi Addam, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to drop a comment, its much appreciated. Yes, after spending the two days sorting out the sticker set for the 131 I'm not about to put it in the line of fire. I don't mind using it for low speed test runs, but nothing more. Good luck with your challenger, I'll look forward to seeing your progress!

Hi Tony, I won't repeat how nice the Fiat is 😊 The added stickers brighten the Yaris for sure. Nice car, with some mandatory options (servo saver, oil shocks and motor mount). The titanium hardware is a nice touch, those JIS screws are a sometimes a PITA. where did you get it ? The 11t is one of the fastest Tamiya motor, still I was a bit disappointed when I used it for the DT02 Speed Challenge, but mine isn't new. I kinda want to suggest to use the Lipo, so you get used to the added punch, but I'm not in your shoes 😊 All the best for your future attempts 🤞🤝

Hi there, I'll take all the compliments I can get as it doesn't happen often 😂. At the moment the actual servo saver is the standard Tamiya sloppy joe special, I'm waiting for an upgrade at the moment. The servo mount is the metal hop up. The titanium screw set is from Yeah Racing, I got the set from a seller on Ebay I think, was about £20 if I remember correctly. At present I'm trying to see how far it can be pushed on regular batteries and will put the Lipo in at a later stage. I'm fast approaching the go big or go home moment though due to upcoming limited running opportunities. Good luck with your entry if you are taking part!
