Yea... but you can get a short cut and I'll tell you what the shortcut is... so on the first bout when you spawn in get in it and go to the front of the boat, then you can duck down on it( which is sticking you hands to the floor of it while in the boat) after that you can exit the starter place by jumping and using the walk stick, keep on sticking on the floor of the boat and if you see a little gap out of the starter place you can see the gap (it's on the right) you can't use the boat cuz the gap is to small so you have to walk in there ( jump so less chance of drowning) and when you walk far in the gap you will see the saving button then you can restart at checkpoint and that's the shortcut!
