Goku Black I find it somewhat hilarious that The Captain has a total of two lines in the game, but has way more physical personality than Venom did. A good example would be the finale. That horrified and confused look on your Captains face had me in stitches.
Native Muckwa AAA games take about 2 years to develop, MGSV took 3, plus writing concepts that went back to 2011. The game wasn't rushed, Kojima just became star struck in Sutherland and decided to blow his budget on him instead of finishing the game

Lol I know this comment is 3 years old. But in the cut content Eli takes the metal gear to the island and infects himself with the English strain of the vocal cord parasite. XOF tries to recover the metal gear but is constantly pushed back by Eli and his child soldiers. Venom snake goes to the island to get Eli and destroy the metal gear and the English strain. Venom and the diamond dogs after a long battle take down the metal gear and Eli. After finding out he’s infected with the English strain they leave him there and incinerate the island with napalm. The floating boy takes the English strain out of his body and takes him to safety.
It rubs salt in the wounds too that even the map is also from the cut mission as well. Maybe it wasn't as incomplete as were led to believe. Who knows, maybe one day someone will find a way to mod this back into the PC version of Phantom Pain.
It took big boss and the entire might of the mother base to kill this thing, all cause it had an actual pilot inside it as opposed to his last fight when the third child was moving the joysticks around.
I would’ve settled for Metal Gear ZEKE. I would have rebuilt all of the Manned Piloted Metal Gears with up to the Advance Tech from Rising: Revengence. Look how it improved Metal Gear RAY by redesign; 4 retractable turrets mounted on the hips and shoulders, right arm equipped with a giant heat blade, and it’s hydraulic water cutter was swapped out for a plasma cannon. Imagine the enhancements with The Shagohod, Pupa, Chrysalis, Cocoon, Peace Walker, ZEKE, Sahelanthropus, Walker Gear, TX-55, Metal Gear D, and REX. I would even use them as weapons in War on Terror Part 2 after what Senator Armstrong pulled in Pakistan. I would start New Outer Heaven, backed by Raiden, Rat Pt. Team 1, Drebin, Otacon, and even adopted the “Les Enfant Terrible” program with want to look in Para-Medic’s old research and figure out a way to reverse his accelerated aging on Solid Snake to keep him alive no matter what it takes. Also track down and find Quiet and give her the Wolbachi Parasite so she can speak again with the English strain of the Vocal Cord Parasites eradicated and give her the life support nano machines that kept Vamp and Naomi alive even a Cyborg body. I would recreate the people that Snake and Raiden defeated in the past.
Regarding Quiet tho, life support like what Naomi did to Vamp and with the Wolbachia, is it even possible? I mean, she could be infected if a radioactive leak will happen(if same case as Huey's) and might turn her to a zombie.

It's not bad, but it could use some work. It's already got a few patches with content updates on the way. Remember kids--- judge a game yourself. Don't let others dictate your opinion based off disingenuous and out of context bandwagoning.
Nine Ball I played Survive, I thought it was trash. I am a huge MGS fan but MGSV was a huge disappointment and toom everything away that made the series so great. I would give MGSV a 7/10 and Survive a 4.5

Because the "ending" felt incomplete and lazy while ep 51 woyld have givem us a final boss and something exviting after the rehash that chapter 2 gave us. However I believe even if they just made ep 51 the story would have still been a mess.

this does not make sense, first it turns out that we are a soldier of the former mother base (militaires sans frontier) of the real big boss and now Sahelanthropus is destroyed? if big boss is in coma and venom snake does not exist yet.now in the alternative ending "Home" in survive, reveals that we are one of the wandering soldiers that we must rescue in the side op MGSVTP and each of them has a picture, we have to go to see Paz Ortega to make her remember, you fucked konami
it's the same level from Mission 51 eveb including the water sound effects and waterfall in the background. I was willing to this game a chance but to not release cut content from MGSV and instead use it for your shitty survival game is piss poor for the fans.
They should have made a game called "Metal Gear: Espionage", it diviates from the main storyline and focuses on being a customizable spec ops soldier during various conflicts/proxy wars during the cold war. Seeing how great they implemelted Afghanistan and PMCs in Africa during the 1980s into the game, something like this could have worked out.
Man, if only Sahelantropus was functioning. And we got to pilot it. It woulda been amazing to fight the lord of dust in a climactic final fight. But judging from the way it’s sprawled out on the ground, I’d argue that whoever was piloting it (maybe skullface or Huey, or perhaps even big boss himself depending on who had it) seemingly got owned. (I know this is cut from episode Fiddy one but it’s still cool to hope)

I'm kinda sad I'm only playing the game now after buying it on release. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It has a good atmosphere, like one review mentioned it's MGS through the eyes of Poe. The monsters in the mist are a great touch. Shame on the community of gamers for burying the future of MGS spin offs.
Shame for not liking a bad game? Just because you liked it doesn't mean everyone else should, i know the feeling of ending up liking a game that everyone dunked on but that doesn't mean it immediately becomes bulletproof from criticism, the game was objectively very mediocre and has very sketchy monetization, it's cool if you liked it but don't expect everyone else to do so and blame gamers for "burying the franchise"

Nine Ball I played Survive, I thought it was trash. I am a huge MGS fan but MGSV was a huge disappointment and toom everything away that made the series so great. I would give MGSV a 7/10 and Survive a 4.5
DivInvixt looking up references isn't the same thing. Its also painfully obvious he didn't actually play the game, considering how out of context everything he presents.
I'm not hating on him, I just think he did a poor job presenting the game objectively and fairly.
Because the "ending" felt incomplete and lazy while ep 51 woyld have givem us a final boss and something exviting after the rehash that chapter 2 gave us. However I believe even if they just made ep 51 the story would have still been a mess.
I wonder how much else of the “unfinished” TPP wound up in this shitbucket…

Agree, The problem is the name, they can use another and use the fox engine but they prefered use Metal Gear and use Zombies, the idea of making a survival game with the mgsv gameplay it's not bad but using the metal gear name it's the problem

this does not make sense, first it turns out that we are a soldier of the former mother base (militaires sans frontier) of the real big boss and now Sahelanthropus is destroyed? if big boss is in coma and venom snake does not exist yet.now in the alternative ending "Home" in survive, reveals that we are one of the wandering soldiers that we must rescue in the side op MGSVTP and each of them has a picture, we have to go to see Paz Ortega to make her remember, you fucked konami
it's the same level from Mission 51 eveb including the water sound effects and waterfall in the background. I was willing to this game a chance but to not release cut content from MGSV and instead use it for your shitty survival game is piss poor for the fans.
They should have made a game called "Metal Gear: Espionage", it diviates from the main storyline and focuses on being a customizable spec ops soldier during various conflicts/proxy wars during the cold war. Seeing how great they implemelted Afghanistan and PMCs in Africa during the 1980s into the game, something like this could have worked out.
I wish this game got more collab events with the other MGS games...

Man, if only Sahelantropus was functioning. And we got to pilot it. It woulda been amazing to fight the lord of dust in a climactic final fight.
But judging from the way it’s sprawled out on the ground, I’d argue that whoever was piloting it (maybe skullface or Huey, or perhaps even big boss himself depending on who had it) seemingly got owned.
(I know this is cut from episode Fiddy one but it’s still cool to hope)

I'm kinda sad I'm only playing the game now after buying it on release. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It has a good atmosphere, like one review mentioned it's MGS through the eyes of Poe. The monsters in the mist are a great touch. Shame on the community of gamers for burying the future of MGS spin offs.

Just because you liked it doesn't mean everyone else should, i know the feeling of ending up liking a game that everyone dunked on but that doesn't mean it immediately becomes bulletproof from criticism, the game was objectively very mediocre and has very sketchy monetization, it's cool if you liked it but don't expect everyone else to do so and blame gamers for "burying the franchise"
