They have their own specific vibe, groove, rhythm pattern - a bit ripped, rich in breakdowns - at times reminds me of Tool drumming - plus blasts 🤘🏻

Awesome drummer, one of the tightest I have ever seen live! Still I haven‘t figured out, why he has 2 Kicks but is playing only the right one with a double pedal. Is it just for the looks?
Yeah first reason is 2 Bass Drums look better, and sometimes you can't fit your pedal on the left Bass becauso of all the stands so i think that he just use a double pedal on the right Bass to get a better position for a more comfortable play.
It also has to do with the sound: its way easier to tune a single kick than trying tuning two different kick drums in a way they sound identical
I believe he uses triggers like most metal drummers so he could use a foot blaster practice pad, I used two kick drums when I didn’t have a rack so I could mount my 3 rack toms.

vocals seem to be super loud in the mix for a drum cam video....obviously trying to prove something but we've all heard the real version and the new dude just does not compare.

I've always been more interested by their live performances, they're very good musicians. The man on the mic is definitivly a beast, but what he does isn't as interresting as what CJ does. It's not the same thing now, it's vocally less exciting.
It sounds like a cover band to me lol. Or a karaoke. Some random dude's trying to mimic CJ. I mean, everyone can do it.

Ok, the vocalist has potential. Looking forward for the new release hoping the vocal sound like this. I think the mix on Godlike didn't do him justice.
The only thing I’m missing about the new guy is more stage presence. His vocals are absolutely insane and fit the band very well.
CJ sound's way better it's like yeah this can dude can do vocals but CJ had that unique sound that's way better bands just lacking now sounds generic

I wouldn’t say terrible copy, Most band that works with Will Putney all sound very close to eachother instrumentally and vocally because of him, if you listen to his band Fit For An Autopsy you’ll notice all the other bands he produces have the same vibe as them
