Haley's voice is so beautiful. B.o.B. has a good voice, and powerful lyrics. But Marshall... This is one of his best verses of all time. The gimmick of pretending Eminem wouldn't have passion for Hip-Hop is so moving. His rhyme schemes are insane. How he can manipulate the syllables and words to fit his custom rhymes is he work of a legend. This is in my top 10 songs of all time.
It’s funny how the first verse in the original song from B.o.B is so relatable now “Yeah, I could use a dream or a genie or a wish To go back to a place much simpler than this”
Em was going crazy before Recovery dropped. This verse, Forever, Despicable Freestyle, Drop The World. This is prime Em for me. And no one can take his throne.

as someone with ADHD, this shit hits deep. Makes me teary and also reminds me there’s hope and there’s also consequences to believing in the self doubt and doing nothing about. I love when you fall in love with a song over and over again. I heard this one on the radio and I hadn't heard it in a while and I was like during the entire intro wow what an amazing song what is this song I'm gonna listen to it once I find out what it is. And then Bob started singing and I was like yeah so that's what my favorite song sounds like. Airplanes has been my favorite song for 10 years. I can't believe that I forgot what the 1st part sounded like the man was at a cool experience. I love this song.
That story explained by eminem was eminem displaying a conversation to us. Communicating something to us. We may not have Chester. But there are still artists here with us to tell us.
Whenever I'm depressed and suicidal I always go back to an Eminem song. I just found out Airplanes 2 existed and its definitely better than the first one. EM IS KING.
Personally I'd recommend NF. But maybe it's because I'm severely mentally ill, so yeah I'm probs biased. I like both of these artists to be fair though.

I remember hearing this song for the first time. My husband said that Eminem "sounded different." "He's sober," I said with wonder. You could hear the change in his voice. He was so clear now; you could hear that raw anger that had attracted me to him when I was fourteen. I still love this song for that same reason. It wouldn't have been the first song that Em recorded once he got sober, but it was the first time I'd heard him rapping sober in a long time. When he was on drugs he sounded so out of it... he sounded like he had no idea where he was or even who he was. Marshall has been sober for sixteen years now. He's an absolute inspiration for so many reasons.
I remember when i was a kid they plqyed two different versions of this song on the radio ajd i would get so excited when i heard it was the eminem version

The two verses fit perfect together because they both start off with let’s pretend and they say it a few times. It’s like B.O.B heard the song Marshall Mathers and wrote a verse with that flow stuck in his head.
