I got into an argument in chat because all these little kids were like "Wow! Non-VIP winged horses! We can finally get them!"
I pointed out that VIP was a guarantee for your money, and that 5% was absolutely miserable odds. If you were gonna pull at all, you might as well pay for VIP. Basic math proved that.
I was scolded for "My opinion being too strong." You know, because math is an opinion and feelings!
This is really shameful. Bronco is two years for the waiting and they're putting out $650 horses?

I loved this game, but recently I have got so frustrated with it... Like it being pay to play is annoying, but my problem is, that it feels like they don't care about their game anymore...
I tried the banner twice and got a tobiano friesian and a buckskin tobiano paint. Wasn’t too happy about my pulls either dash.

I decided to try my luck ONCE. That would have been the only shot i was willing to give. My fiancé offered to pull it for me and I gave the phone to him, knowing it won't be a dragon. MF manifested me that egg on the VERY FIRST PULL. HOW.
Would love to see you play horse life. I have stopped playing SE (the soul of the game is gone) but I can see im clearly not missing out 😂😭
Yea, i have been meaning to suggest horse life. I play it alongside SE, but i am beginning to lose hope for SE. I want the next part of the story, like every end game player, but it seems they keep wanting to prioritize money over player interest.

I loved this game for its potential but its very hard to find modivation when pther games have actual events, Star stable has their Seasonal stuff to look forward to during the year but Star Equestrail is feeling really bland and tastless although Star Stable isnt perfect horse game either I find my self playing it more then Star Equestian> I still want to see it do well and get back that feeling when i first played the game
I like that non vip can pull but we need more just more
The only reason i pullled was bc it was a better chance for me to get a 5 star cause i was struggling with the ftp pulls, didnt even want the dragon but i did get a 5star and a fantasy!

i would also love to see a video about all your thoughts on what kind of improvements and changes horse gaming as a genre needs. i noticed how in my steam replay this year, one of the categories was "horses". xD even though it may technically be a simulator or a pet sim game with minigames, horse games really have come into their own genre anyway somehow, and most players more or less *do* tend to want similar things in their horse games.
sadly i've dropped star equestrian in the past several months due to getting busy, game-breaking bugs, and the game not being worth the daily time and effort i put into it as a f2p. most gacha games i play as f2p are far more rewarding, even genshin/honkai, and sadly games like this are oozing with greed, which in turn makes me feel extremely resistant to giving them a cent until they prove they deserve my money. :') yet despite my strong language, i agree 100% with you, i want this game to do better and be better to its playerbase despite all else. children should not be being enticed to spend 100's of dollars just for one more sparkly pixel pony, ever, really. star equestrian has a large 3d map to freely roam, there's too many different things they could add to the game to give players things to do in order to invest some time playing the game and rightfully earn enough f2p gems to do a 10 roll or two every month or so, but star equestrian being that generous would be a miraculous change of heart on their part.

I have a question, as I recently got the autumn clyde and the Vulcan fri. I haven’t seen anyone in game with the horse that comes from breeding the two, do you by chance have it? I’m questioning if it’s something want to breed. So I’m looking see it.

I mean seriously….. Here are my pros of that update: the idea of the dragon mixed horse is a pretty awesome & cool idea. You can even breed with it to get more combos. They added a higher chance to get a 5-star normal/fantasy horse instead of 4-stars. Last year’s Christmas was- okay. Also they’ve added a small scavenger hunt to get a special reward this year. However, this were the small negatives come in. Instead of Foxie trying to make it worse…
THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING GOOD FOR THIS YEAR’S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!
How they were supposed to do it? Well, take an example of Horse Riding Tales’ (HRT) recent update from couple days ago. They DID here better. They added new breeding tokens where they could earn from champion chests or from racing to breed adorable (and a little weird coat combos) foals and later raise them any time you want during 1 week. What was their mistake? They should have MADE people happier, not only being greedy for 💵.
Anyway. Imagine if they released that same exact update, but with 1 -5 FREE roll(s) to attempt to get a dragon without spending gems on it. That would be a great idea and they could have made it a little higher chance to get it. That would be awesome opportunity to make players at least a little happier and exciting!
So again, these were just my opinions. I loved the creative idea with dragon horse where you can breed it with other horse. However, it’s a little shame that they did it that way somehow, but it’s still fine. I don’t mind much about it. So, let’s hope that they might do something better in 2025!

I love SE and I have paid a lot of money since I started playing years ago, and I am all for supporting a free game through microtransactions that I enjoy, but I feel like their priorities have shifted to greedy money grabs. I love the game in so many ways, I love the ranch building features and fun of free roaming but there are still many things that need to be updated and the breeding and horse gambling is ridiculously overpriced! I LOVE dragons, and I know some probably love this new dragon horse, but for me, it's not it... I would have loved a dragon pet though. Boo 👎 🫤
Yeah, the monetization updates have been brutal. Praying they do something soon cause the playerbase is going to keep shrinking at this point
