Hello I need to do this on my boat. What was the material you used to mount the fridge in? Looked like a type of plastic. Thanks, great job!

I know this video is from a while ago. You already stated you run the batteries separate. What charger are you using to keep them charge?? Also how would a solar panel like the one you had on your Yamaha work with this set up?? I got a 20’ walk around and i have a few ideas to install an ac unit in it but power consumption and space is what im trying to figure out. If you have any ideas or recommendations would you have?? Love your channel and all of your diy projects on the boat

Yes Captain the solar panels I had for the Yamaha was not enough to charge the fridge batteries they consume a lot there 70 amps and the charger I use I think I have it in the link in the description below if I don't let me know and the best way to go with air conditioner and Refrigeration is by having a generator solar panel would never catch up to give you power for a air conditioner due to the high power withdraw .
Hope this helps on your DIY projects captain keep me updated👍👍

I am working on a smaller set up like on the video link attached. I found that computer cpu cooler system may work like i said its a 20’ walkaround so its a small area to keep cool.

Hey. So did you tie the fridge batteries into the boat’s batteries so they can charge when motor is running or do you just recharge them individually?

    • @OutOnTheReef

Charge them individually where the generator that way I have battery separate I don't get a surprise set my battery stop all depleted
