I love how you captured that dynamic with the restaurant owner. It's true! Sometimes that strong, confident aura can be misunderstood, but it’s really just the mark of someone deeply skilled and proud of their craft. When you show respect, they’re often the most open and willing to share. Loved how you highlighted that in your vlog!
Chef old subscriber since island hoping episode but this episode is level up. Keep making like this , promise daghan me matun.an ingun Ani how to handle restaurant business. Galing respect sa staff naka fucos sa customer grabi ka hospitable

We have such a rich tradition of cooking in the Philippines, hindi lang talaga ma-promote at ma-sustain. It's tough to survive in the F&B business in the Philippines, much respect to those multi-generational restaurants/carinderias that have legacy recipes.
Chef, you should hit up Mann Hann next. It's within San Juan too, going to Little Baguio. Their Oyster Cake's one of the best and even their Cha Yochi (stir-fried kidney) is on another level.
Parang ikaw at si Misis mo Chef yung owners ng Restaurant. Nakakamiss na si Ms. Camille @Chef JP Anglo, Congratulations Chef at may Baby son kana. Can't wait to watch you guys together. Happy Family 😇🙏🏼
Yes it’s very good. Our to go place for the best Lechon Macau in town that can give any Maxim restaurant chain in Hong Kong a run for its money. I also saw once my beloved Prof. Mareng Winnie and her barkada enjoying a seafood feast there several years ago. Look for Mang Fred!
Chef Sun Moon Garden sa virra mall....wow their crabs are awesome....thats our go to if may occasion ang family...kahit malayo sa pasay...always wondered what happened to them....this is it!!!
Nakakaganang kumain palagi pag napapanood ko vlogs mo Chef Jayps! Try niyo din pala sa New City dito sa Kalayaan, QC. Masarap yung Crab Omelette nila and yung iba pa nilang dishes. :)

The owner's probably guarded about vloggers because they know it can go either way. Pinoy owners would probably be over accommodating and overly hospitable hoping the vlogger might be favorable to them or at least less harsh about things they wouldn't like.
