I know every break up is different, and I know my story will not be the same as yours, but I hope that this helps you in some way... in February my now ex boyfriend (Harry coincidentally) cheated on me and then quite unceremoniously dumped me whilst his mother sat defending his actions in my sitting room. The very next day was my 20th birthday, and I took my first steps into my twenties curled up in a little ball in my old bed at my mum's house, sobbing to the point that I couldn't see or breathe, with this ache in my chest that I couldn't understand and I was convinced would never go away. I never believed that someone I had loved so much, that I had devoted so much of myself to, could hurt me so deeply. We had been together since we were 15. That feeling remained with me for a month or two, I did lose track of days and I didn't leave my room very often. My uni grades suffered tremendously, and I now have to repeat an exam in August because I just did not have the motivation or desire to get out of bed and study or go to class. I'm still not 100% okay, but the whole time this was going on, I was watching your videos to cheer me up, I was wishing so badly that I could be you and have the life that you have, and the idea that maybe some day I could really kept me going and gave me some motivation. I know I don't know you at all, I only know what you say and do in your videos, but as far as I know you are such an amazing, caring, loving, creative, understanding, happy, wonderful person, and you deserve the absolute best. I obviously don't know what happened between you and Harry, but I know that my Harry broke me in such a way that I never thought I would recover, and to some extent I actually have, and it felt like it took a lifetime, but it only took 6 months. You will get through everything and come out with a smile on your face, and nothing will hold you back. I believe that to be true because you have the work ethic and motivation that kept me going when I felt like I had nothing. Keep your head up, keep doing what you're doing, and don't feel like you have to keep vlogging or updating just to please us - the majority of people will understand that it's not that easy, and you deserve all the time you need to recover your mind and happiness to exactly where it needs to be. I've only watched the first 4 mins but Lizzy, stop worrying about whether we'll miss Harry or not! It's so hard after such a long period with someone...but you have to do what's right for you. I've been there, broke up with my High School love, got back with him out of guilt, that lasted 24 hours because I felt so sick to my stomach that I was doing what was right for everyone else. We should have broke up long before but I was so scared of being on my own...but when my dad died and I watched my mum cope without him, I realised I was being ridiculous. I was 21, and it was scary as hell but once I found my feet I had so much fun. Then more heartbreak, then more fun...life's a rollercoaster and no matter what happens I can assure you what comes next will make you realise that everything happens for a reason, and quite probably life will be better than you ever imagined it could be! Lizzie I can relate to your relationship hardships. I dated the same guy from the age of 22 to the age of 32, during which time we became engaged & I moved to a different state (he didn't follow). Honestly prior to moving across state lines I knew a break up was immediate, looking back I think it was a combination of stubbornness & cowardliness that kept us together that long. We just grew apart & ultimately had different priorities/goals for ourselves. I'm sure he'll make someone a wonderful s/o just not me. Thank you for being so open with us Lizzy! Changes are scary but looking back, almost always necessary to move forward. You will continue to grow and evolve and do great work! I´m happy to hear that Harry and you can still be friends, it would have been a shame for both of you to end things on a negative note. Also: do take a break if you need to, moving and everything that has already happened again (newest vlog) can be a bit too much. So if you feel like taking a time-out, we´ll still be here when you come back.

It takes a maturity for you and Harry to have made that decision. I separated from my Husband last year, as a 34 year old, after spending 10 years together. I ended up moving to New York. It always amazes me how people can have amicable breakups. How wonderfully mature but it makes me wonder how one might feel about it and get over it. Every breakup I've had has always been a mess and ended in bad terms, yikes! I'm married 2 years now (been together 8 years), so thankfully I won't have to find out.

Been through the same, just hang in there and know that whatever you feel, it's alright, don't reject your emotions but also don't let them take you down, simple separate yourself in way that you are You, and those are just the emotions, they don't define you and they are not going to determine you in future...
