I watched a dvd from you I had from truefire. I forgot how solid it is. Folks if you are interested in this style David is a great guide.

I have every Truefire DVD by David and, while solid, there just isn't enough material for me. Most solos are about 25 seconds in length. I just can't recommend them
The song-length lessons on his private WWW site are more satisfying.
      That's my tuppence. YMMV

I noticed something about Charlie Christian's note choice. Because Charlie didn't use his left hand pinky, the position that he plays in can determine his note choice. That is, he'll avoid certain notes in a particularly position if they don't fall under his fingers ( i.e. his pinky). This surprises we, as it seems rather limiting. Not that Charlie sounds limited in any way.

    I just found your channel,so I'm a bit behind.
Being new to swing(I'm a I,IV.V blues guy)I noticed you don't use bends or vibrato much if at all or have I missed something?

Just curious - what pickups are those? I also have a semi, and I'm shopping around. I'd love to know what those are for comparison.

p90 pickups, they sound pretty cool in semi or fully hollow bodied guitars =)
