Don’t let anybody tell you this channel doesn’t provide some of the best yarntainment on RUclips. Full cashmere that’s going to be amazing to work with and wear. I wonder if the Blue Heron is called rayon because it’s close to crayon colors that’s what it reminded me of anyway. Those hand dyed mini hanks I’ve seen go for anywhere from 14-20 bucks so. I do love hand dyed yarn I’ve seen a couple of forest color hanks for sale but they are full price probably well worth it. Pretty amazing haul a lot of value for cheap.
I think it's some of the best as well but I am biased. I know the mini banks can be more expensive which is why i said the value could swing my up to 50 dollars cause it was hard to make a call on some of these
OhhhhEmmmmGEEEEE! GURL! YOU DID GREAT!!!!!!! I love the sparkles too.. My goodwill doesnt get any yarn donations other than what I personally donate.. oh well. Happy for you though! cant wait to see what you make with all of them!
So happy for you and love seeing your joy :) Personally, I particularly like the purple chenille (love the soft smoothness of chenille and this one look extra velvety and like it would give me a great stim!) and all of the Blue Heron yarns too. Sparkle, purples and teal, so so pretty! Yay! Thanks for sharing
i love that one too! i can't believe it is 38 dollars a skein - the newer price is 39 - and I really couldnt believe it is 50 dollars for the sparkle that is made of rayon - but you do get 500 yards
I have just started this Video... i stumbled upon a yarn sale this week and got 10 pieces for 1 € each... woohoo... its so beautiful i instantly began with chrocheting a retro daisy grannyspuare jacket... iiii love it❤ will give it to my sister❤
I am allergic to wool but I was oohing and ahhing over all those stunning colors. Those hand painted greens and blues were to die for.😂 Do you ever have trouble letting go of some of your favorite creations ?
hi renee! glad to see you back! i would say sometimes it is hard to sell stuff but i do it for a business so i know i can't keep most things - i do pick some things - but most needs to go out the door
@@WoodshedTheoryI have a stunning poncho made from Romonoff wool, hand dyed by hand made dyes and spun by hand, woven by a client who made everything from wool from a friends farm. It was a payment for my work but I have never been able to wear it.🙄

@@WoodshedTheoryThis video made me cry with happiness for you. ❤️ There is a big Iris Nursery in Oregon USA that after doing all the paperwork, I was allowed to purchase about $600 worth of Iris in the 80's. I was panting with excitement for all the rare colors as I unpacked 160 fat beautiful tubers. Sure wish I could have shared that moment with someone like you did with this yarn.😂 😂 Internet had not been invented and nobody had computers.😏
Wow! I love all the 100%. natural fiber yarns, like merino wool and silk! The yellow wool was my favorite. I sometimes try to restrain my natural urge to tell people how to pronounce things, but I’ve heard you several times on your channel actually thank people for correcting your pronunciation, so… here’s hoping you don’t mind: Leicestershire would be like “Lester-shur”(I think Persica was just the name of the color). Manos would be like “mahn-yos” (sorry, I can’t figure out how to do the ene on my keyboard ~)
oh please do correct me - sometimes when you haven't heard the word before and you try to read it it's impossible to get it right. Thanks for pointing those two out!
@@WoodshedTheory You're welcome; I've been learning a lot of yarn terms from you too - like roving, and the one about the chain that I've just forgotten :)
A few Artfibers on Etsy. One seller said you can "partner" this in with other yarns & that it doesn't stand well on its own for anything. ?Manray, Mannray Manrey? (spelling) w/the steel in it? Can't find that one but extremely interesting. 🧐 An amazing haul from around the world. It's too difficult to choose a favorite. There are so many stunning colors & fibers.
@@WoodshedTheory That is unusual. It makes me think of chainmail like what the knights used to wear with their armor. 🛡⚔🏹🤷🏼♀ Okay. Now I'm going to see if there's any yarn with kevlar in it. 😉
@@WoodshedTheory English is a terrible language - I used to apologise to the children when I taught spelling rules (& the million exceptions to the rules). My favourite place name is Towcester, which is pronounced "toaster" 🤣
WOW. Totally not a yarn guy, but... those Blue Herons are amazing looking. I really want to see what a hat like that looks like. Probably a bit too gaudy for ME, but I can totally see someone rocking a hat like that!
OoooooH I actually have some of these yarns! My son came across a deal where he got a literal truckload of free yarn that he gifted me. It’s been a year and I’m still trying to find places for yarn in my studio lol. Yarn overwhelmed is a real thing. Am so very excited for you! I love a good deal, thrifts, and seeing how much these yarn cost originally. So exciting! By the way, this is the first video video in your playlist of yarn, and I am working my way through watching all of them lol

Holy crap. I'm not even a fibers person and I can tell that's quality stuff. That one deep aubergine purple is so nice.
thanks i love this stuff and yes it is super high quality stuff
Oh. My. Goodness. What a SCRUMPTIOUS yarn haul!!!!!!!❤
delicious lol
A joy to watch your joy and I'm learning so much about yarn.
thanks for hanging out with me
Unbelievable in such a WONDERFUL way!!! Woo Hoo!!! You scored BIG TIME, Claire!!! 🧶🧶🧶

That Blue Heron is amaaaazzzinnngg. 😍
i may start snuggling it to be honest lol
Love the black and the Blue Heron sparkly one. So pretty! Great haul!
yeah that one is amazing
I had no idea you could add something like stainless steel to yarn! I learn something new every day
Me neither! I was so surprised. I did some research and I found some silk mixed with stainless that was more rigid but nothing exactly like this
Wow, so much really nice yarn for low prices! Congrats on the great yarn haul! Definitely a good reason to dance.
indeed the best reason to dance
Gorgeous yarns! I’m in my rust era lol so many I loved!

The Blue Heron rayon metallic was lovely! I have one hank from the LYS closest to my house. They had it clearanced at 50% off.

very skein-dalous

I have zero interest in yarn. But watching your autistic joy when you get a haul is beautiful! 💚

Do you hand knit or machine knit. I love knitting hats but I am not fast at it so I use bulky most of the time.
