I don't normally leave comments but, I strongly disagree with you and EVERYONE else who thinks they are... "close". THEY most definitely ARE NOT. Gong Yoos body language and comments indicate they are NOT. Look at his face when she says it may be the last time they work together. His facial expression was that of shock and embarrassment. Her comment was uncalled for, and odd to say during an interview. Gong Yoo laughs, but his eyes are darting back and forth between the interviewer, Jung and everyone else in production uncomfortably which indicates EMBARRASSMENT. After this moment, he seems a bit deflated, and is no longer looking at the interviewer much, or Jung, and he is shifting his mouth which is indicative of stopping himself from saying what he REALLY wants to say. Almost as if he is trying to avoid an argument with Jung, or coming off negatively. After this, Gong Yoo let's out a laugh at a comment, but afterwards can be seen doing another two body language gestures that show he is UPSET. At one point, he is stroking the back and front of his neck. This gesture indicates he is extremely uncomfortable with what is being said and done. It's almost as if he is soothing himself by rubbing his neck. Another moment to observe, which I have NEVER seen him do in interviews is, he begins to look down and pick "lint" off of his sweater. DISENGAGING. This is another moment that shows he doesn't like, agree, or feel comfortable with what's said, the moment, or the person beside him. So he is completely breaking eye contact, looking down as if in his own little world, picking imaginary lint off of his sweater. This little clip is not the full interview. In another part of the interview, Gong Yoo expresses that he and Jung do not get along privately. When he says this, he placed alot of emphasis on it by nodding his head to make sure we as the audience understands this. He also gave a quick eyeroll. That was his moment of expressing displeasure with her. Gong Yoo went on to make a comment that didn't really make sense about them being friends. But really, they are Co-workers who work very well together, but they aren't REALLY friends. Gong Yoo kept it together as best he could. I don't know the cause of why they don't like each other, but, I think it is a bit unprofessional in terms of what she said. She was laughing, but what she said was meant to be an insult to Gong Yoo. People need to learn about body language!
