That Stelo works at 1:58 is exactly like my 1980's mountain bike, even down to the brazeons, and that is a good thing. Bravo Thomas. 4:00 That Sugarfoot is beautiful. Overall a really well put together video. The thumbnail dragging me in, the auto playing start spiking my interest then a real title and intro at 20 sec in. I might have to steel that format. Not a typo.... ✊
@@leodileodileo Orbea Katu, Le petit porteur, Benno Remi Demi, the new Monopole cargo bike is kinda in that landscape. And just lots of custom builds that have popped up in my feed recently.
The MADE show incorporates a lot of bike racks, cargo carrying, custom bags, practical bikes for carrying loads, etc. Lots of applicable stuff for bikepacking.
Unfortunately most of the bikes are not affordable to the average Joe Nice to see a lot of Cantilevers still …. but we’re still not getting there the simple bike… Single speed up right bars lots of braze ons …. affordable😊
That would be nice, but thankfully there are many affordable bikes available outside of the handmade bike show, which tend to invite builders to show off new ideas and concepts.
Plenty of those affordable types available if you know where to look on the vintage scene (forums/eBay/FB Marketplace etc.). The beauty of vintage is that - especially if you're doing the work yourself - you can tailor (e.g. modernise, restore, restomod etc.) the build however you want for much cheaper than a modern new-build.
I am obsesed with the cargo mini velos!
They are trending, no doubt.
Nice! I got to hang out with the host for a bit at the Simworks ride. Cool to see the final product.
I really liked the Surf type background music. Perfect for showing all these neat bikes.
The Sugar Foot wins this years show. While being niche and limited it’s very capable. Most importantly it’s beautiful and thoughtfully constructed.
thing is so sick
MADE me smile
I love the new CO-Motion Cycles bike. This might be my next bike. Having three CO-Motions currently, I am a fan.
Love seeing the creativity of the builders. Would love to see some longer interviews.

Awesome work guys! So many cool bikes. That Rare Earth hardtail: omg.

Thanks for watching and for the feedback, very helpful information.
Bunch of hipsters! Love to see the ideas come to life.
Look who's on RUclips!
Fun that mini-velo style cargo bikes are suddenly a thing. Not only at Made, but in general - I've seen so many of these pop up
Apart from
Bike Friday do you know some other brands that build mini cargos??😊

I see their value as a do-it-all bike for people living in apartments. They don't take a ton of space and they avoid the hassle of pulling a trailer.
Recently build up a Le Petit Porteur min-velo cargobike, I really love that thing!
@@Frostbiker the problem is the price ! I know is a “new” thing but they’ll probably drop the prices in a few years.
Id like to see Tom 360 that mini velo down a 10 stair before I buy it, I know he's still got it
Good to see. If you want something more in depth PLP has a 40 min video
I'd love to check out that Rare Earth ride and the Sour Cycles speaks to my heart. All I ride is steel frames.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Bangladesh ❤ your cycle land... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
they never would admit they are nerds and GIANT has us covered as far as bicycles.
Lots of beautiful bikes here, but hot dang I want to ride that Bitchin' Geo Shift up and down some slopes!
Portlandia. It’s different. Very different.
Hey Josie what did you ride in on? I need to know more about that bike!
Mini cargo Velo!!!!!!!!!!! Destroyed bikes that’s what’s up!!!! Call those guys up and do a bikepacking tour !!
Yo what are the specs on that magnificent beard?
Funny how all the folks trying to be "themselves" all look like each other😂😂😂.
When you want to spend a ton of cash to go very slowly...
When you waste your life with negativity.
compared to other made videos this felt rushed and idk, ask some good questions? give me some better details
I thought Tom, Josie, and team did a great job at capturing the spirit of the event and some of the people showing their bikes.
@@pedalingnowhere it seems you're a paid editor of the associated magazine so I would assume you would think that!
Agreed
Yep, some of the transitions were a bit ... sudden, lol.
The whole show has been stolen by Dustin Klein's No 22.
Is it just me or is this video a bit off-topic for a bikepacking channel?
Bikepacking.com ain't just bikepacking

If you want affordable you need to go carbon with hydraulic discs, bikes made of metal and with such outdated tech are stupid expensive.
Like my old bikes 😂 Nothing over £100...
