The reason I keep bikes for as long as I do and ride them in as many places as I do is because you don’t learn very much about a bike if you only ride it for an afternoon. Take that bike in many places over a period of months and you can really start to get to know it. Even when I think I know something about the way a bike reacts and handles, I’m often surprised by a result. That is the case with this bike and the mountain single track you see me riding in this video. Yes, the bike is very good generally, but I’d much rather have a 2 stroke bike with its higher feel for this type of riding.
