The Y-straps appeared only in December 1941. As of June 1941, the Germans did not use them.
Also, your shovel is inserted into the case incorrectly. Turn it over.

@ Find at least three photos of a Wehrmacht soldier using them as of June 1941. and that will be proof of their use. Wikipedia is not an argument.
