My impression of a German soldier during Operation Barbarossa, June 1941. I'm not portraying any specific division but rather just a generic soldier. @ReichReenacting Vielen Dank 🤝🏻
how are you from?
bread bag looks kinda crappy but other than that pretty good
Great video ...Have you been able to do Conneaut D Day yet ?
Nice video man 👍
The 1942 movie Casablanca (Warner Brothers) has the classic scene of the Germans singing Die Wacht am Rhein, which shows that songs were a big part of the lives of soldiers. It is easy to learn and fun to sing.
This is awesome...I know many faces in this video, as I am a Deutsches Soldaten reenactor 62.VG
The Y-straps appeared only in December 1941. As of June 1941, the Germans did not use them. Also, your shovel is inserted into the case incorrectly. Turn it over.
My brother in Christ read a book hell a wikipedia article would even tell you they were indeed used
@ Find at least three photos of a Wehrmacht soldier using them as of June 1941. and that will be proof of their use. Wikipedia is not an argument.
All I could focus on was that nice floral tie you had on.
Why are ppl doing this? Is it kind of a fetish? Please dont tell us its for historical education 😂
What the fuck else would it be for?
@sir.phillip2697 the german reenactors from germany, eastern europe and USA are in general a bunch of revisionists that try to revive the good old Times 😅 maybe there are some others around. But in fact they aproach the topic without any sidenote to holocaust and warcrimes commited by the Wehrmacht. "we are just interested in uniforms and vehicles, we dont judge!" Yeah i know, sabaton got you already.
It is for historical purposes and it’s a hobby for fun.
Imagine making a video on the odds and ends of history, and then you get trash comments like this by people whose minds are in the gutters. 💀
@@megandarling2215 reenacting history has been a part of a nations culture, or who we are. Many of us started doing Revolutionary War or Civil War, just to see how people lived and struggled. Those who forget history are going to relive it some day.
