Daia has been able to watch the show and mold herself into exactly what Kordell wanted and needed. He has been a man in the desert with Serena desperate for water and Daia came with the water for him saying and doing everything he has been wanting. Serena being a slow burn and always open to getting to know the new bombshells is why Kordell was open to getting to know someone else. But I will say Serena did keep her actions to a minimum when getting to know others unlike Kordell now.
