I’m new to your channel and I see a true passion towards Band Maid, but I also see a lot of question in your eyes. Kanami is a brilliant songwriter, I’m 64yo and have listened and seen the best Rock had to offer. Kanami can mix many genres of music in one song and come out with a masterpiece, defying all musical logic. She’ll write angelic harmonies to the hardest rock songs like “Blooming” then take the most heartfelt ballad and hit you with a hard rock solo “Daydreaming” that will leave you saying, “where the hell did that come from”. These girls are very special, much more than the other Japanese bands of late, special in a way the Beatles were special….. that perfect “Rock Storm”.

You know it's cool if you don't like it. Her talent together with her 'Black Smoker' bass are an unbeatable duo. 🤘🏻 【 'Our rock never dies ever. Forever!' - Band-Maid 】 🕊️

Misa loves to play the bass that way and basically does every song, you just can't hear her front and center. She plays it like a damn piano. Do Warning (Music Video) next. Same album, but just an awesome video and song.
Another great reaction. Their new album is a mix of older style, what the band calls (Roots) and newer style (Progress). Roots is supposed to be more in the style of their older songs and Progress is newer style. The song Manners is supposed to a song that bridges Roots to Progress. I'll be honest, it took a couple of listens to really solidify my feelings for some of the Progress songs, but that was just my brain trying to wrap itself around the music complexity and once my brain rewired, they're become some of my favorites on this album. Five of the songs are competing to top spot, but that keeps changing each time I listen to them.

The music for No God is like listening to Frank Zappa in a Metal mood.... Progressive... experimental... chaotic madness. It's a bit much compared to their previous work. Manners and After Life are more palatable from their new Unseen World album. Keep up the good work, gents!
Misa, the silent assassin. Misa, Misa, Misa. Manners will be an entirely different and more traditional style. Band Maid incorporates many different styles and they don't have a bad performance. Giovanni is a piece that heads into the prog area. Everyone has their favorites. For me No God rates probably higher than you place it but it's all good, it's Band Maid.

2021 was MIKU'S turn and she put together a J-Pop project for April Fools called Cluppo (a twist on her pigeon sound trademark "Kuruppo") which probably sounds better than 98% of the pop out there today, as a joke for the fans who thought she may actually be leaving BAND-MAID to do this. It was really a thumb in the eye of the Japanese record industry and their "IDOL" culture which she was turned away from as she originally tried to leave the maid café she worked at ...

You already know that the MAIDS blow your channel up in terms of views. What better way to get the word out ;) . Pigeons will save the world!
@P in D
OK, could be something we something we can lead into.
It would be if some of the Band-Maid viewers would stick around for some of our other reactions too.
Ah well, one view at a time is what we started out with.
Cheers for the suggestions, we will get checking some new BM reactions out.
The funk is strong in young Misa...
@Darth Fluffy
Yup, she funked that right off
I would like to nominate "After Life" it is one of the newer real music videos and has the most unbelievable chorus which repeats 3X. The third time they change it up and it kills!
No God, this a new song. Misa has always been up for funky bits ever snce Thrill , first video singe.Her mother brought her up on a diet of The Who , so Misa was always a very melodic bassist from the start. Her first instrument when young was the Trombone. Kanami started piano, hence her great composing/arranging skills, which has won not only award for in Japan , but also high paise from Jimmy Page of Led Zep (Akane too) Choose me live,is a great rock song with explosive chorus launching fills.> ruclips.net/video/HcqitbXgigU/видео.html
I thought I read somewhere that MISA was also a classically trained Cellist?
Manners and Warning are both off Unseen World. As is No God.
MiSA BASS IS 🔥
The music for No God is like listening to Frank Zappa in a Metal mood....
Please check out their official mv for Rine.
No, God? Oh, God!
@Tom Clark
Yup, we jumped in there.
Lemmy's looking good. These ladies never disappoint.
@donepearce
Indeed he is, no mistaking that intro
Be interested to see what you make of what's coming up later.
Good as usual guys. Wonder how your gonna fare if or when you get to the likes of "Screaming" and "Different" Think they'll certainly prick your ears up!
Thanks yes... ok noted let's see where we go from here :)
MISA MISA MISA!
This is one of their more progressive songs. I'm surprised they released this on YT before some of the more accessible songs from the last album.
No caps!? No cap!... Ace of Spades? I bet Lemmy would've liked to play with them! (jk - He was a very nice bloke - put his cigar out in his drink, Jack n coke, when he saw there was a child in the room when he met Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters). Good song and excellent delivery. Knew you'd go for 8 - for a first listen!
@Damien Maynard
Yup, we managed to get the lockdown mullets styled.
We guess this must be how BM mix things up and it caught us by surprise a bit, our tiny little minds could not process it right away.
Did you manage to catch our "WWWBPR" release, something new we are trying and would appreciate the support.
Lemmy was scary looking guy, but always had time for everyone.
Your getting good with the scores, keep it up!!
@@BritPopsReact mullets? nothing fishy about the hair! Never had a mullet - went from Prince Valiant (platinum blonde) to a Robert Plant - gold curls. Now I have a "Bill Bailey" - "it's not a bald patch - it's a solar panel for my love machine" LOL!
@Damien Maynard
I always wanted to ask but never had the courage.
Does that barber charge you full price or half the list price?
Just asking for a friend 👍
Guys, check out NEMOPHILA all girls Japanese Band songs Dissension, Raitei.... :)
Manners is a good old rock song, warning, chemical reaction and afterlife from the same album probably are easier for you to digest. Giovanni is my favorite but it might be a bit too progressive for you guys. Level 42! I think I have a cd somewhere.
Bass was always good. Their early 'Thrill' MV, that got them attention in the west, has a bass solo...in your face Mark King :-) It's a really catchy tune...recommend it. They've come a long way...but haven't made a bad song at all.
@Phil Proffitt
Thanks for the comments, we did enjoy Band-Maid as it was more our style of music and we will get to check out more soon, just like to give some a break in between reactions.
Thanks for watching
NEMOPHILA- DESSENSION
Manners!! yes

We are not a public toilet!! lol #Britpopsreact
Do manners its the song everyone is doing
@Stephen Chigwidden
We will try and get to that soon.
Thanks for the comment.
8? should be 12, at least :)
or 812 the same as Miku's Pigeon Years
@Dave Cook
Oh, very smooth
React Baby Metal Rondo of Nightmare
no god is actually one of the few songs in the new album that I like less. giovanni, hokai, black holes, chemical reaction and manners are my favourites so far.
