I have a T300RS GT with the T-LCM pedals and the TH8A shifter, now I am just waiting for this servo motor to be sold separately. I really can't wait, especially since my T-300's fan is steadily becoming louder, and likely failing.
Im thinking of getting the Thrustmaster T598 my first Thrustmaster T150 gas pad spring wear out so im just window shopping for a new Wheel for ps4 play GT 7
Nice review mate 💪 I’m looking to purchase the T598 once it’s available in Asia. I have a SF1000 and I’ve always been worrying that I have to purchase the adapter to use the wheel with the base. It’s cool to see that there will be a modern quick release SF1000. Do you have any information if the new quick release will be sold as an upgrade for all current Sf1000’s? Thanks Mate
don't do it. Not a great base. Even fanatec cls is better. Go for either moza, fanatec or simagic. Thrusmaster sucks honestly. I'm a old thrusmaster user.
Hi i have a question. I am thinling about replacing my g 29 with this wheel. Do you think it is worth it. Also how does quick release work. Do you need to buy adapter or is it alredy there.
@vito_faca join my discord and you can have a big discussion with some friendly people about this. But I personally would go for other wheels, Moza R5 bundle, Simagic Alpha Mini, etc Logitech DD I think if you get this from a G29, your going mid range entry level, to high end entry level, I think a good move would be into the Mid Range area
@@vito_faca I think logitech DD works on consoles too (I think) but it may be to expensive. I didnt know you were on console well in that case it's true this could be a very good choice for you with the console compatability!
@@JACKZERYT is moza r5 have better precision for the true feel u should get vs the thrustmaster choices? which one has the most realistic feel of what i see in real life?
It looks good. How many NMs is it? TBH, the quick-release system kept me away from Thrustmaster. I'm still iffy about it. But don't get me wrong-I love their ecosystem. Mind you, I use the G Pro, but nonetheless, Thrustmaster is also doing good things with its ecosystem.👍
Its 5nm of holding torque. But with 100% overshoot. So it can do brief peaks upto 10nm. What it cant do however, is drive in the 8nm range. It can only peak above 5nm for short moments. Generally overshoot cant be utilized properly, but TM have figured out an algorithm that allows them to use overshoot to their advantage instead. If you're asking for 5nm with some peaks, then you're making an educated purchase. However, if you're expecting a competitor to the Moza R9 for example, then that it isn't "really". Id say its better than a csl dd 5nm, but not as good as a csl dd 8nm. But that's purely my guess, only
Its main sacrificing seems to be in overall build quality (use of plastics etc), form factor, and noise (its SLIGHTLY audible in the form of a coil sound). Direct radial Drive has a smaller form factor, allowing for higher torque, is silent, and has the task of tackling cogging instead. Cogging is beaten by staggering magnets, using good magnets, using good encoders, using more poles, or software tuning. Axial drive means you should theoretically be able to use less dampening to avoid cogging. So 5nm should still feel detailed id imagine as though you had the filtering turned off on a moza or fanatec
@@GregoryShtevensh I would tell any1 that 5NM is a good FFB to race at across the board. I put my base to 6NM and it was too much FFB for my liking and that’s on console, imagine PC, I’m not even gonna try the full capacity of 11NM 🤣 …
It wasn't a promotion video, I just gave it a try, shared my first impressions and let them speak to help you make your own thoughts. What is the wheel wobble your talking about? Is it like the flex of the wheel?
Logitech G Pro look better from quality, pedals gap and 11nm is strong feedback like DD Pro. I don't like T586 look like cheap plastic quality and the pedal look smaller then Logitech G Pro. Wheel design G Pro look better and G Pro have four button behind the wheel is good. But TGT 2 are good wheel belt driven ever wheel from Thurstmaster, but yeah for $1000 I choose G Pro, no doubt from Logitech brand all good durability for long term use.
Bought mine. Love it - even the included wheel is satisfying.
I have it too but I dont agree with you the wheel is a plastic peice of SHI...
My pedals keep slipping on it even with the grippers on
Great clip. Concise and informative. Thanks.
If nothing else, it's made Logitech's G Pro base look small!
I suppose your right! I will say the G Pro base is a touch sexier imo.
Congrats on 80k btw!!!
Haha true
Desk mounted Roomba.
It’s a Cammus C5, but inverted.
I think the C5 and C12 also use axial flow motors, I believe.
@tver no they dont they use outrunner radial flux motors

Do all the older wheels fit the T598 base. Including the SF1000 and the sparco rally wheel add on or do we need an adapter
The famous wheel base disconnect himself lol

If you only play on PC then better pick Moza or Simagic.
Hope you enjoy it! And I'm not sure when the QR will be released but it sounds like soon

Im not a fan of the form factor.
Its a good idea though and I do think for the lower end, its good to have another option
and it is lower priced and it is still direct drive

u are right that wheel is plastic.. but the base and ffb will perform a lot better then the g-pro on in particular on the ps..
