If you're looking for a dose of adrenaline-fueled machismo, Taito has just the game for you. Thunder Fox espouses all the trappings of the classic 80s action flick: bulging muscles; explosions; more military-grade hardware than even John Matrix could handle comfortably. In terms of gameplay, this is another run-and-gun side-scroller in the mould of Rolling Thunder, Shinobi, and a good dollop of Sly Spy for good measure. It's not especially remarkable, but the overall presentation is excellent, and the gameplay is solid - collect guns and other power-ups to overcome legions of adversaries the game throws at you, with each stage culminating in the typical boss fight players should be well versed with.

Damn! This is an incredible game! Rush N Attack, Contra 3 the Alien Wars and Operation Wolf all put together into one arcade game and its fantastic! It should have gotten a sequel or even a franchise as it could have done really well!

I remember when this machine was in an arcade near here where I live. By that time, there was SF2, Captain Commando and others, and nobody played this game. Not a bad game at all, but it couldn't beat the competition.
