And the Maya Gods are VERY different from other deities, considering they die, but they also had some shape-shifting in the popol vuh. I really like that hermes had actual feathers, and all of his reality-warping shennagians, wheter he actually did it or conjured up an ilusion it's still impressive cause you had to draw it. I liked the bit at 1:47 where eyes appeared on his wings, it felt like those Biblically accurate angels.Also, the tortoise shelll lyre!.Also I'm pretty sure Hermes was flirting with his great-grandson., which feels fitting and also seems to be something I saw ximena natzel and Scilla Animations do..Their faces at the end where pricesless. I really liked it

Yup, the biblical angel Hermes was mainly due to me reading Paradise Lost last semester for school, and I remember Milton comparing one of the angels to "the winged son of Maia," or something like that. Lol, yes, cannot forget about the tortoise shell lyre! Love how much of a troublemaker Hermes has been since his birth. Yeah, I also noticed a lot of other artists give Hermes a flirty personality, which I feel like is fitting for a lot of the Greek gods.
