Maternity leave announcement!
Baby girl was born 4/7/23 which means my maternity leave has officially begun. Over the next 8 weeks, you can expect a new pre-filmed anti-MLM video to go live every Monday at 11:00am EDT. I’ll be back with new videos after that point!
Everyone is happy and healthy and we’re settling in at home and doing well. Thank you for all of the sweet comments, messages, and well-wishes, see you so soon!!
Editing to add: not every video over the next 8 weeks will be a Horror Stories video. They will alternate between Horror Stories and MLM Top Fails, as both types of videos were great to prepare ahead of time!

I agree with the sentiment but you do realize this is her actual job and she kinda does have to post regular content to obtain an income, right?
@@notursweetseptember I understand that! But she could’ve chosen to rely only on the income from past videos and just taken the 3 months off completely, but instead she is giving us content! I’m sure it is mostly to keep her channel growing and in the algorithm, but she still could’ve chosen not to!
It is really time consuming to make videos so I’m just saying I’m glad she chose to do that so we have new content to watch - even if there are multiple reasons that she did it!

As a Christian, the plexus story killed me. "Maybe this was going to be my miracle" that made me cry. She was clearly desperate. Maybe the woman really did believe in what she was selling, but all of it was just so dang gross. I hate when people use God to swindle people smh.
I have to say, I have to work really hard to look “average”. I hate when people say just do this one thing and you’ll get there! No, that’s not true!
I cringe when a hun says God gave them the MLM business and it is their "ministry".
If god existed, he'd surely do something about it... and against children dying of cancer, femin, wars, etc.

The Plexus story is so upsetting it got me in tears for this poor woman. Preying on someone’s desperation to have a baby with faith-based manipulation is extremely sick.

I personally know people who did exactly this! Telling people plexus was the miracle they needed to become pregnant.
Can confirm, that Target story is 100% Amway. Having sat through thousands of meetings, this is exactly what they teach about making connections to get people to see "the plan".

i also love how compassionate you are towards almost everyone in a MLM. I actually complimented someone at a Target the other day. The woman said to me that she wasn't joining my pyramid scheme. I was confused and she explained that people are recruiting at this store in particular. I told her that I really loved the floral patterns on her dress; she said it was Pioneer Woman and it was sold at Walmart. I thanked her and walked to where my item was that I was purchasing. I'm not a MLM hun.
There was a reddit post from a new mom who was harassed in Target by a person. The MLM pitch didn't come up because she tried to get away but the new mom was so upset, she was worried they were trying to human traffic her or her baby. She had Target staff members walk her to her car and she was paranoid for weeks. I'd bet money it was a bloody MLM hun. Now a new mom is beyond frightened for her infant because of the friggin target mlm huns.
I'm 100% sure Hannah has covered that on this channel-that or it happens WAY too often that these stories blend into each other. Either way, this is disgusting. How do you have that impact on a person and NOT have second thoughts?
@@Pippa87 Hannah covered a target story which is why I connected the dots to the reddit story, but this was definitely a separate incident. Im going to assume mlm hun's targeting day shopper moms and university students is the new latest and greatest way to recruit. Unfortunately, not all hun's have refined their technique yet. I guess in the reddit post the hun didn't get to her pitch before making the poor mom scared out of her witts. Beware shopping during the week day. They seem to follow a formula of compliment, questions, compliments, slightly more invasive questions, bragging about their lifestyle, slide in an insult, compliments, more invasive questions, more bragging, pitch.
That is so disgusting. Poor woman.

Also keep records of the time doing "your business". It can be a big eye opener in realized how much time is being wasted. Maybe you profited a couple of thousands of dollars(I doubt it) but it took 20+ hours a week is it worth it? Would a part time job been better?
I think this is the best way of helping loved ones get out of MLMs - okay, you're a "business owner" now. Better start keeping accounts like a real business does. How much time and money have you "invested"? Are you getting a reasonable return on your investment?

On the topic of profit vs revenue, you should also be paying taxes on profit not revenue. Keep track of expenses and income and then speak to a knowledgeable accountant.

I'm crying here for you! I just had 3 babies in 3 years and the biggest advice I have for you is to wait before having another baby, haha. I wish I could have fully experienced my first baby's milestones before having another one. My babies are reach about 18 months apart
I have a brother who is 15 months younger than me. My mom had accidentally gotten pregnant with him when she wasn't planning on it. He just turned 18 last month and has the biggest appetite I have ever seen.
I know how you feel. I had 4 under the age of 5. The first was 2 and a half years old and then the next 3 one every year. All grown up now and left home.
As someone with three under two, got twins the second time. It's not so bad. I actually like having the ability to remember what was happening with the first for the other two. And I like having them so close in age. They are good at playing together.

I'm not a religious person, but it seems like a religious intervention that in story 2 she saw those posts that changed her mind after deciding to go into debt for plexus.
A real deity looking out for people would have smote that horrible lady the MILLISECOND she started manipulating someone's infertility issues.
I've had so many 'hey girl' messages from people who I've known for years 😂 even before I was aware of the whole MLM structure, I hated the impersonal copy and paste messages enough that I've never felt tempted to become a part of one. I was a part of a Younique group before it launched and at first I stayed in it as I was curious about what it entailed. (it was pitched as a new brand with innovative products that was gonna be a global success) as soon as the briefing for how it worked came out, I decided there and then it wasn't for me. I also could never stand the videos posted by people who knew absolutely nothing about makeup. One woman was dipping her brush in water and then putting it into a loose pigment and drawing it down her cheek. It was literally dripping down her face and the pigments looked so rubbish it was actually quite embarrassing 🙈
