- Venomous Pit Viper Gives Birth! One of our Venomous Waglers/Temple Pitvipers gives birth! This is our second year in a row having these snakes give birth. We couldn't be happier as they are a very difficult species to keep and breed in captivity. Native to SE Asia, these snakes are arboreal, shy and brilliantly colored!
Eating right off the back, a testimony of your good husbandry & care. Kudos to you both. Such stunning neonates
Thank you! Did you see the updated video of the babies? They are getting so big we are going to be moving them into display cages soon
@@TobiesTroop Hi. No I've not seen that video yet but going to right now. Won't be missing another one 😊🐍🐍
😅 often Tay has my full attention .. this has been the best feeding camera work of alll the Reptile channels I'm been watching for years- the best! You two are a breath of fresh air .. Aussie member from DownUnder 🧡🇦🇺🇦🇺✌🏼
Thanks Darry means a lot we try to real hard to get good quality footage of the animals as well and not just the humans ☺️☺️
"Child support?? Watch this"!!! I nearly fell off my snake vine when you said this! Miss U guys!! Jim C.
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Jim! Hopefully going to be getting back into the swing of things soon! Life has been super busy but over all well. Hope you are doing good as well! Another vet check for Tobie next week (keep him in your thoughts). Also got a couple more videos edited should be posting one today and one next week!
Always amazed how easily so many of you babies take their 1st meal. Great job man, love the video.
Thanks Michael, we get lots of practice, but we have also been really lucky. We still get occasional babies that are pains!
RIGHT ON !!!!!! So very cool. Love to see people puting in the work and getting captive born animals. Great job ya"all
Thanks you! Congrats on the recent baby eyelashes btw! Nothing more rewarding than getting baby snakes!
Damn 😍😍 those are amazing. My absolute favourite Viper. Congratulations and well done 🍾
Thanks Oracle Reptiles, we are super happy to have them born. Hoping to put more pairs together next year!
Wow so beautiful love the little vipers and nice outcome with 11 little ones Congrats
Thanks Irondogg Reptiles, we were excited to say the least. Now the fun part tease feeding for 6 months until they decide to take food on their own
YEAH ! Another great video! I watch most of the south Fla u tubers. Really, you guys bring something fresh. I look forward to each vid. 2 WEEKS! 😆 thanks guys.
Thanks Dustin, we try and film the stuff we do thats different, hoping to get to weekly videos, maybe someday biweekly.... btw more cool babies coming in the future 😎

Thank you Stephanie 😊 ☺
Me too 😁🐍🐍
Really enjoyed this video, beautiful snakes, thanks from the UK
Thank you neprajah, from across the pond! 😃
Those are gorgeous!
Thanks man! They rreally are incredible!
I really enjoyed your Wagler’s videos. I’ve been photographing them in the wild here in Singapore, but it is awesome to understand a little more about them by seeing how you’re breeding and feeding them 👍🐍
Thanks David! Can't tell you how jealous I am you got to see wild wags, its a dream of ours to find and film wild ones. I hear they are quite common to find?
@@TobiesTroop they are not to difficult to find here. I probably average one a month without looking all the time. It’s a tiny island with a big city, but a lot of stunning snakes in the green places. Oh, and a monkey or two!
@@Dr_Rig Monkeys, even more tempting. One day we will make it there, if we do we will def post some videos!
Too freaking awesome! Congratulations
@Juan Damelines, thank you we couldn't be more happy with this litter!
Great video
Thanks Ryan!
Gorgeous creatures!
They really are, and they keep getting prettier with age!
What is the purpose of misting them so often? Love your vid! Subscribed!
Thank Kenneth, so glad you like our videos!
These snakes are from a very tropical region of the world (SE Asia), we mist them to help maintain property humidity and so they can drink. Bc its rains so much from where they live most don't like to drink from water bowls. Feel free ro ask is about anything else!
@@TobiesTroop ah ok understood! Thanks for that! I am from Singapore and we are not allowed to keep snakes as pets here, we can only photograph them in the forests. Thanks for the info! You guys got Instagram?
Love the spider on the viv' door lol
Hahaha we keep it all natural!
@@TobiesTroop natural pest control, no chemicals needed lol
فوقالعاده بود این مستند زیبا . مرسی 👏👏👏
Your camera is awesome!!
Thank you, not gonna lie, I love that camera lol.
Nice! The Dad keeping it real!
🤣🤣🤣
So 2 things I noticed number one I waited 2 weeks for a video and not one Tobie appearance?? You know that's another demerit for you both lol and two I don't know why I didn't notice this before but Taylor is short lol awesome video as always I can't beleive even at a year old how big those fangs are... How long does it take for them to fully grow??
@Dave Scire, I know I know.... we had tobie in the room (in a cage of course) I realized i forgot to add his scene when it was too late! We've been having so many things go on as of late.
Tobie has been a diva lately, hes demanding more screen time it seems but acts like a wild 🐒!
The waglers have proportionatly HUGE fangs and they are so rarely bred and successfully raised in captivity that I don't know but I woild assume it would be about 4+ years to adult size. That seems to be average for a lot of smaller arboreal vipers!
OMG you had me LMAO@ Tobie being a diva and demanding more screen time!! I wish I would have seen that on video lol and honestly I'm shocked Tobie was so quiet while you were filming... Keep up the good work can't wait for the next video
@Dave Scire, added much more tobie this week! You mentioned him smiling in a past video, the ending of this weeks video you can see him smile many times btw. Also forgot to mention... Taylor is 4'10" LOL 😆
@@TobiesTroop yea I just saw the new video and holy shit she is short lol can we say midget?? lol
Hi, do you guys still have the two parent snakes? Its been a few years but im curious. Also, must the baby waglers eat more often, the same, or less than their parents which eat once a month?
Nice, Love from Sweden. ❤️
Thank you Andres Johansson!
What is the duration or how many months do waglers give birth from mating to releasing baby? BTW nice vid🥰
Do you need to wait for the babies to shed before feeding them for the first time?
No. Surprisingly they become more picky after first shed
I just purchased my first waglers yesterday. I have a good idea of how they need to be kept but I see y’all said they have thrived in that enclosure for years. Even enough to breed, that is amazing! What is y’all’s setup, temps, humidity? Plants ? Thank you !
We still have all our wags and they continue to breed and thrive. 78-82, 50-60% humidity. Keep dry mist daily to every other day. Feed monthly. Plants that do best are pothos. Let us know if you need any help :)
@@TobiesTroop awesome thank you!
@@TobiesTroop also even a yearling feed monthly?
@@TobiesTroop oh and what lighting do y’all use
What kind of isopods do y’all have for yalls bioactive enclosures and what’s the other plants besides the pathos that’s y’all have in the enclosure?
BMG, we just collect them from the yard and when we are out. We found some huge ones in some agricultural areas that seem to be thriving for us
I have been wanting to purchase a captive born Waglers for a while. All I ever see is wildcaught for sale. Are you guys going to sell any of those babies or the year prior? And yeah, I know this is a year old video.
We produced two litters this year, everything is already gone. They go so quick no time to even post ads.
What kind of plants do you put in there.
Lots of house plants, we often find pathos do the best
