I've always had the same feeling. They fly a bit under the radar and they usually play the smaller venues. They continue to put out great material so they are still relevant in my book.
Been a fan since 02. My only opinion is, I think cuz the largest most popular demographic of music is pop. One that reaches more of the modern day pop culture . That an generic rap or hip hop music. Only the cool kids listen to stuff like Chevelle or rock in general. It doesn’t fit or pander to today’s pop culture. It’s why their no actual rock bands playing at big award shows ever. Late Talk show hosts or SNL. Might get a alternative group every once in while, but usually always some pop artist or rap artists. I always consider the ppl who know Chevelle for many+ years or just pondered across them on RUclips, are the lucky ones today.
Niratias is an Album that reminds me of Lateralus for some reason. I vote Niratias for Album of the Year! Congrats on the bright future...#keepingrockreal
The best band to come through the ranks since the Nirvana era. Honorable mentions: Foo Fighters and The Darkness. (just my opinion). And if you ask why the wide gap in timeframe? Its simple, I didnt like anything else that came about.
i may get a little about this but.. The chance of me replacing a good PRS Guitar for any fender overratedCaster is like me changing my DropA# Or DropB Tuning for C....? NEVER CHANCE anyway the ECHOES where Real that Day 55:12
this is even the same band? ruclips.net/video/vpDWrsxN3rg/видео.html where did this energetic drummer went, the singer scream out loud instead of moaning, what happened?
Its a bunch of middle-aged tired old people, like the band. They aren't there to mosh and freak the fuck out like they did in their teens and twenties anymore. If that's what you're looking for then go see an actual metal band live. Chevelle's about good times and chill vibes these days.
I have thought this for years. They have cool riffs and always been a fan but they need a utility guy or gal to add some dynamics: backing vocal, guitar, keys, etc. They definitely play tight though. One perfect example of this is at 9:00 mark. That's a fun guitar lick which would be killer doubled and continued into the solo.
Look at that... a concert where people aren’t getting trampled to death/or security guards getting injected with needles!! You people falling for crap artists like Travis Scott need to wake up and change your taste in music. Chevelle rocks...been a fan since 99 back in the Point number 1 dayz!!
I love Chevelle.... but in keeping up with other acts and performers within various genres of music, their live shows just don't hold up against others. Pete is doing too much, and it hurts the shows. When they're live he's not able to be as intense and focused on his vocals because he's the guitarist too. If they had a touring guitarist that allowed Pete to focus on carrying his singing more live, their ability to wow more diverse audiences might help pull them into more spotlight and out of the underrated mold.
I understand where you're coming from. Sometimes I feel the same way. It's basically a light show. The songs are so powerful that I don't mind at all as I've seen them live more than 30 times.

I don't know why these guys aren't more popular.

@@krissanders987completely agree. Good new generation does not know what they’re missing.
Que publico tan frío, en Latinoamérica estaríamos cantando, saltando y gritando hasta perder la voz. Aguante Chevelle. Excelente video

It's so unbelievably amazing that just 3 guys can Make so much noise and so frickin awesome music, Bravo !!!! ✌️
Usually Pete is off with his singing in concerts, but he sounded super fresh in this concert. His screams he never misses though
I was there 🤟🏻 them folks don’t deserve to be up front 😂😂 disappointed to not hear “So Long, Mother Earth” but loved “Verruckt” 🔥
You guys in the US are so lucky getting to see my favourite band so often...I wish they would tour the UK 😒
Thank you for uploading!
Much love and respect from Brazil 🇧🇷
This show hit the hot points. I know they want to start their own record label soon. Speed it on.
that'd be AWSOME

8:16 gorgeous playing
The sound quality is amazing on this recording! I enjoyed watching this show immensely! Wished they would come to Dallas!
I was so hoping to see a live version of Ghost & Razor. I love the new stuff and haven't seen that song live yet.
I also haven’t seen peach yet… I wonder why
AEwED just hits so hard... love that song!
Pete is so badass. I wish he still played PRS tho
glad am not the only one who feels bugged inside that he stop using PRS live after touring his second album
is like WTF???
I could not be happier that he moved away from PRS into fender...I'm not a pRS fan and I'm all about fender
@@monchiscastorena8768 nahhh man his sound was much better when he was playing PRS guitars. I'm not a fan of those fenders
THANKS!!
This was such a fantastic concert!
They need to do tour where they play their whole new album.. NIRATIAS is fukkin awesome..
I've always loved chevelle, wish i could of been at that show. They sound amazing!!!

No “So long Mother Earth” live?? I don’t think they’ve played it on any of their sets yet
they can't, like many songs recorded, pete just cant get there instrumentally ad vocally.

This band needs another guitar player for live performance.

@@Jet-Black-Folk It would sound so much better with a back up guitarist.
@@dreib9660 idk they’ve done it for so long with one I think it would throw off the dynamic.
Watch his strumming and playing closely, there’s another guitar strumming chords during choruses out of view
@@makidiaz3894 hey Google, what is a delay pedal?

this is seriously one of their worst set list, EVER.
