This is great, thank you!
Thank you Tito!
Can you make a continuation of this example that provides a response from the provider back to the consumer.
Thank you for the video Dr Pavalkis. You mentioned at the beginning that this can be used for API calls ( like GET operation), do you mind please making a quick video to demonstrate it ? It will be extremely helpful. Thank you very much 🙏
Thank you for the question. I had in mind that this modeling method can be used to define API. This is an example how API could be modeled.
@@MBSEExecution thanks for the reply. Since API is mainly data driven especially with the GET or POST calls , I am not quite sure how to do it. This example works well for calculations using opaque actions . Any recommendation how to use those operation calls (GET , POST etc .. ) to model actual data (Boolean , strings , etc ..) been passed on? Thanks in advance
Thank you for the awesome example. I have learned so much from your channel. Is there a way for Block A to call an operation on Block B, from an opaque behavior in A? So just like your example here but instead of a "Call Operation Action" you use an Opaque Behavior? Thanks!!!
Hello, thank you Rebo. I think yes. Opaque behavior can call CallOperation Action.
@@MBSEExecution Thank you for the reply. I have been trying to get this to work and have not been successful :(. Would I use the ALH function? I can't find a way to tell the opaque behavior how to find the operation on the other block. I tried using a part or reference relationship to the block with the operation, but the execution fails. Would you have an example? Thank you!!,
Thanks for the great example👍! One question though: Is it possible to use proxy ports and interface blocks to define the interfaces? Or is it not supported by the simulation?
Hello, thank you! Proxy ports are supported. There is video on this topic. Important to know that proxy ports does nit have implementation so they pass values and signals in / out the block.
I'll second the request from Eris. In my case the response message might include several hundred data parameters. For a quick reply, do you think either the basic or advanced method will be appropriate for a transmitting a response message of this size?
Hello. Try with basic first.
humm... did not know Cameo can do simulation... aha!!!!
