- In this Tutorial for Adobe Photoshop I used the amazing power of A.I, or Artificial intelligence, to take an old photograph and restore it.
Adobe Photoshop's Neural Filters are capable of doing in seconds what would usually take hours, while also giving you amazing results! The Photo Restoration Neural Filter was used for this tutorial, along with some more traditional manual controls to improve the results.

This is the channel I’ve been looking for. I have boxes of old bw photos from family members, some more than 80 years old. I’ve tried the beta photo restoration feature befor with very mixed results, this video has given me a good road map to improve my skills. Like, sub and bell for you today. Thanks so much for sharing
A BIG thank you, one of the best videos on here 👍
Outstanding instruction! Thank you!
I appreciate this and the clear explanations that you give. Thankyou.
Amazing! I work with AI a lot, but this is just stunning!
Awesome job, keep going!
Great tutorial!
thank you so much for this!
What's more stunning about this video is, of all the photoshop videos in youtube, you're the first I hear pronounced the "Lasso" in BritishEnglish accent. Zoo but with 's'. All of them pronounced "luh-saw"
Thanks for this video, please I want to know the Photoshop version you are using
I know that you might be busy with your mext project but I was wondering if you could color the leaders of the Axis powers.
You can select out portions of the image and run the filter on them seperstely
lasso is correctly said as " lass ohhh" like the "o" , "open" not not "las zoo".
I have a picture where one side of the face of the face seems to be under too much light( very old picture) so detais are gone, can I somehow recreate second side of the face ? ( eye, lips are visible on one side only)
❤
:)
That's a Mona Lisa smile, with a wry twist
This is Photoshop normal?
Colour noise reduction doesn't 'do the same but for colour images'. 'Noise Reduction' and Colour Noise Reduction' are two different processes and both can be applied to colour images. The latter reduces coloured artefacts - random pixels of irregular colour.
If you're going to do instructional videos, it might be a good idea to at least read the manual first!
