Hyundai have had vents under the seat to send cool/warm air to the rear seats since around 2002. If you have a Getz for example there are two poking out from under the carpet of each front seat. They work great. Perhaps they realise that hardly anybody remarks on it even realises this is the case and have worked a way for buyers to see that the have ducted air to the back seats even if it not in the more obvious location. BTW standard Kia Ceratos and many others in the range do the afore mentioned under the front seat ducting too.
We still don’t know where the final price will land but we do see similar pricing with competitors such as the MG4 and it’s doing reasonably well sales wise.
@@calvink295 Everything in AUS is more expensive than in the US and Asia why? Coz AUS adds AU premium. I also find out in AU, you don't get good services for the price you're paying.
BYD Dolphin and MG4 are all under A$40K. GMW Ora Cat is about A$35K. This Inster while nice needs to be closer to A$30K if they are to lure customers away from the above 3 models.
Purchasing BYD or MG Chinese cars can put you and your family at risk not only because of quality issues but also because your valuable information is transferred to China.
Can anyone tell me wtf these apparent ‘cheap’ suburban run abouts are so freakin expensive $40k+ for what is essentially a small plastic appliance to go shopping with, is the joke on us? We are paying $50k for junk Chineseum EVs, and they are disposable regardless of what people say. At least this is Korean, when is the EV reaming ‘tax’ going to end? I think I would rather pay $10 for a lettuce.
That's a cool/practical looking EV! Would make a sweet little car to commute to work in and cruise around town.
Are those air vents on the bottom of the front seats? Looks interesting.

I like the happy face dashboard full of buttons
Physical buttons in cheap EVs are a rarity!
lol now I can't unsee it
40k is a bit overpriced. Realistically, 30k starting would give them an instant winner

@@chasingcars this is obviously one size down from MG4 and Dolphin... it'll need to be at least $5-8k cheaper to have a survival chance
$20000 USD = $28000~$30,000 AUD
If they don't sell this in the 30k range, they are going to be a flop.

It shouldn’t be more than 35k
I mean MG4 is 39k come on
Hyundai quality rather than Chinese MG.
$35K sounds about right. $30K would make it an instant winner. Considering the base Ionic 5 starts at $43K
For the global market, Inster would use LFP batteries to reduce costs, while NCM batteries are already confirmed for the Korean model.
Want in India with a small powerful 800cc turbo diesel engine
I want one but not at $40K.
Needs to be similar to the cheapest EV here which won’t be $40K in 2025.
at 3.825m long it could be on my list, but only if the indicators are on the right hand stalk in Oz
Good luck at 40k
And you actually believe that’s the final price?

But these are Chinese evs you just listed.
Enough said.
Would bever buy a chinese sensor plattform ever..
I'd rather get an inglis for 25k that's a ridiculous price for a bubble car
Too small for AWD, dang
If there is a N version that does 0 to 100 in 3.5 sec then count me in otherwise im not interested 😊
An N version would be awesome!
~$40K, they jest, more like $20k+, even then I would think 10x and forget it. What will be the cost of the battery, that is the decider
147nm of torque. This is going to be slow.
Good thing it's not a racecar!
Too expensive in Oz.
Oh dear
Good for grocery shopping that feeds two people but definitely wouldn’t take it to Costco.
All these stupid jacked up tall evs really makes me appreciate the honda E.
The honda e was a joke
this is ONLY 43 mm taller. it is smaller than Honda overall by 142 mm narrower, 70mm shorter
Honda e could have been great, but it’s not unfortunately
I hate it because its a high off the ground SUV when ALL I wanted is a small low to the ground HatchBACK ! like a i30 EV
So your criteria are no suv, small, low to the ground hatchback, must be ev…. Get Fiat 500e then practically a 3 door hatchback 😂
@@DekThai101 no thanks
i don't have shite for taste
Fiat Grande Panda looks much better than this.
The price will need to be lower to compete with Chinese cars.

I think it's AUS problem, sorry bro
For this crap 40 000, hahahhaha
