As a Warsawian I really appreciate showcasing my city as I know it. I'm 28 and it has taken a 180 degrees turn during my life time, from a post-communistic memorial to a modern European capital.

My mother had a one of a kind experience in the 1980s. She visited Warszaw with her polish friend living in Germany. She met all kind of people from a former minister to a poor lady. Our connection to Poland was special as her friend’s school friend was married to a Polish diplomat and there were Polish engineers working in Germany we met. Wonderful people. Good memories. And I also remember the delicious Polish cuisine her friend cooked for us.
You have a good sales rep in Eva, DW. Eva has the perfect personality for joyfully carrying the viewer to see the finest of things. Good choice. She holds the viewer all the way. I now have my curiosity on Poland elevated to further heights.
This feature about Poland was beautifully narrated by Eva with a substance. There's so much more to learn in each country's culture. I hope that what's passed yo generations will be continuously relived🥰
It is amazing, how you discovered, attractions, that most tourists don't know. I lived in Warsaw, 60 years ago, and I still remember the Café Blikle, on Nowy Swiat Street. The café was established in 1869, so it is older, than I am. Greetings from Canada, Alex
Really enjoyed this video. My best friends parents were from Poland. We went to grade school together from 1958. I remember going to their place for lunch. Even though brought my lunch his mom insisted I "yeet" her meals really great food great memories. I remember some of the stories of surviving Warsaw during the war.

Very nice vlog about Warsaw, very nice to show people what it has to offer through this vlog. I lived in Warsaw for a period and have been to Warsaw and in Poland over 50-60 times last 11 years and my love for the city and country continues to grow. Have been lucky to be able to convince many friends to go with me in recent years and there are a few friends who go again annually so this could not make me happier that I have infected them with my love for this country. In November I organized a trip for 22 friends 4 days of Warsaw and most were very excited! I can only recommend it and such beautiful vlogs I can only encourage!
Amazing Ewa! You are a huge inspiration to me and to millions of people! Your travel videos show the authentic side of the cities you visit and I really appreciate that x
Pierogi are fascinating food. They’re really everywhere in Poland. And they’re quite common in all Eastern Europe. Except Czechia - we literally never eat them, they are super rare and uncommon. It’s quite surprising that they never spread here and are almost impossible to find.
We love Poland (Warsaw) and we love you Ms. Eva!! Best wishes from Pakistan.....(without any foreign politics,,,, from Russia/ Pakistan and China).... Your culture is so fascinating
I’m so happy for you guys. The buildings are not original but that’s better. I went there in 1988 and i was devastated to see the capital to be in such a state. All the best to the Polish. Hope I can go back there for another epic holiday
Dziękuję za pamięć! Now you're wanting me move back to Poland! Maybe next year but you got me with the food, oh how I miss the food. Hope to see other polish cities, I know it may be boring for you but people need to see our beautiful country. So wonderful… makes me want to visit some day. You’re a fabulous presenter, since you make it all fun… (which is actually the highest possible compliment) :0)
This host is adorable. Seems like Polish women are beautiful. I used to work with a woman from Poland. She used to show me pictures from home of her and friends. And I don’t think I ever saw a young Polish woman in all of them who wasn’t attractive.
I appreciate the video, the host seems very likable, but Warsaw is much more than what is presented here. It is said that Warsaw is a modern city, but there is only 2 shots that show that and both have Palace of Culture dominating the frame :) Warsaw is also: great modern and contemporary architecture, really interesting museums (Copernicus, Warsaw Uprising), bustling day/night live along Vistula riverside and the biggest business center in the central Europe - almost every international corporation has its office there. Part 2 of this video would be great or simply just check out the english Wikpedia page :)

Wow so wonderful review about Warsaw Poland,, iam a Ugandan i would like one day to work in Poland, i believe it's a beautiful place to live in and work from there.
I'm sure you need to do another video about Warsaw. The perspective in this movie is very one-sided and is far from what can represent a truly accurate vibe of the city. I mostly saw the outdated perspective of a post-communist Polish city, It's still able to feel in Warsaw, but only in unique areas, which are disappearing faster and faster as they undergo modernization. For example, the video lacks mention of newly raised business centers in the Wola district, modern community, and living centers for the growing middle class, and the bustling district over the Vistula (can you imagine around 50k people gathering each summer weekend for meet friends, talks, and dances all river long within the city). That is what today's Warsaw truly is. DW, you have much more to show.
When in Warsaw, do check out Zrodlo - modern polish food & natural wines in the old-school Praga district. It's a nice alternative to "milk bars" if you want to taste something "local". Have a nice time!
I am Czech and funny - so many things are different and so many are the same! We had very similar big glass fish and I wonder if it was made in Czech Republic or in Poland. Having a communist museum is a great reminder for younger generation what it was like. I love your videos, especially your intelligent narration. Looking forward to more! Thank you!!
