Thanks for the interview, very interesting !!! I started listening to Buck on the radio in 1963 while serving in the Marine Corp at Cherry Point , North Carolina , always been one of my favorites
I love this, I am a huge fan of Buck, and I remember Buddy performing and wondering what had happened to him, and I remember an Uncle saying there was no way Buck could deny he was his son, the way he looked so much like him. I associate Bonnie with Merle and she always seemed so sweet, it is nice to hear, that she and Buck remained friends, as did her and Merle did after divorcing. Great interview, as I said Buck is special to me.
Born in Germany I listened to CCR before I learned English. I wondered for many years about John Fogarty's reference to Buck Owens. Looking out my backdoor, there came RUclips and filled in all the missing pieces. What more can I say?
I think Miss Bonnie was man’s best friend and that is a fine position. She was a special lady and I have always been the same way, which is okay with me. I would rather be best friend than passing fancy.
This is a wonderful interview, and I thank you for sharing it. It is so AMAZING! God bless, Charles (Brother Charlie)
