Anytime a doctor requests a patient not to go to the emergency room or call 911 due to complications should be a red flag. Especially when the situation could be life threatening. the woman who got her bowels perforated did a good job not listening to those instructions and went to go seek medical treatment. She is alive because she used common sense. Wow!
That is so deadly because of how quickly someone can go into septic shock. It is one of the biggest concerns during a colonoscopy and the doctor tried to go as slowly as possible and monitor the entire time.
I saw a TikTok she did of facial liposuction under the chin, and the way she was jamming the liposuction tool into her while not even looking most of the time because she was talking into the camera, I can imagine she’d do that to the woman he referred to. It’s just beyond the pale.
@@requiredparticular6831 that's the one where she is talking to the camera and saying how dangerous it is in that area because of all the "structures" in the neck! It seemed like she was making a joke that she was saying how deadly the surgery is while being totally distracted, but thought perhaps she really wasn't performing neck surgery (or any surgery) and it was just looking like that for the camera. I think it is the one that cost her the medical license.
It’s ok for surgeons to have a social media presence, but they have to balance it with professionalism and ethics. I’ve seen doctors and surgeons who even like being popular, but they stay focused and don’t use procedures for face time. She had plenty of time for self reflection on her policies since 2018. She clearly wasn’t able to. I hope she finds a career doing something else, because she doesn’t belong in surgery, and with her fame, she will have a hard time working anywhere in the country.
I haven't seen any of her videos, but surgeons are regularly teaching and talking to others during procedures, particularly those procedures done by feel more than sight (lipo). Not saying diverted attention is good, but it is definitely the norm.
Did these patients KNOW they were going to be recorded and put on social media in real time?? Surely the patients would have to sign some kind of HIPPA release???
Doctor Grawe was my plastic surgeon and I thought she was a really talented surgeon. At the same time I want to defend the patients because if it was me with complications I wouldn’t be happy. But I did not experience issues with her.
Even though many of her patients actually went to her to have plastic surgery because she was doing the ticktock video is so foolish. What fool would think they’ll be fine afterwards? I still feel bad for all her patients getting hurt so badly though
These foolish patients chose a TikTok Doctor because she had a lot of followers. I feel they should be responsible for themselves. They chose this person to cut on their bodies. I would have walked away.
they still shouldnt be responsible for it. they thought because the doc looked so confident n wanted to show what she did, that she was good. i wouldnt do that myself but still. its the doctor's responsibility

Just because she’s famous on TikTok doesn’t mean she’s a good doctor.
True and I feel these ladies were fools to go for her surgery because she had a lot oh followers. They are responsible for themselves.
I can't believe she perforated her bowels, that's so incompetent. It's almost unbelievable! Wow, just so careless.

I could be wrong, but it’s probably not a good idea to be doing social media while you’re doing stuff like performing surgery.
The lawyer being interviewed appears to be doing his job but also attempting to be unbiased.
California welcomes her with open arms... our state policies in Healthcare are easy going..
They told her patients not to call 911? That’s negligent with that alone. That woman would have died had she not gotten part of her colon removed.
Thank goodness.
License REVOKED!
I pray she learns the lesson, she needs to ask for forgiveness to those she injured.
This Roxy girl was an OceanGate Titan type in the making.
I mean, they picked a surgeon based on her tiktoks... I'm not sure what they expected 🤷♀️
Exactly….!
They got tricked.
When u r seeking too much attention!
Holy guacamole… I use to watch her snap chat videos. Damn..
Anyone from South Korea 🇰🇷 watching this.
