Amazing thank you for my birthday memories
What do you mean what do we think? There's only one thing you can think if you're a fan, they go just as hard and 04 as they did in 94, they're tighter as a band than ever and Jacoby's vocals are better than ever. I was with them in North Carolina the day before this show and got to spend about an hour or so with him and his son and Jacoby is truly the nicest man in rock and roll, not Dave grohl. I've known the guys for over 20 years and they have never been anything but passionate about their music and appreciative of their fans. I asked Jacoby a question that I can't post here cuz it's about an upcoming event that we may or may not be doing, but instead of saying, I just don't know bro, gotta have to check with my schedule or assistant, he said Homie, thats a great idea. We could blow that shit out....I gotta check with my boys first to see if they'd be on board." My boys? Yeah, Tobin, Tony & Jerry. After being in the band someone for 30 years I have seen bands stick together and refer to their members as their business partners, which actually turned my stomach. But when it comes down to it, and the bills need to be paid and food on the table, it is a business. But it shouldn't feel like a business, that's the whole reason the chosen few are so damn fortunate to do this and get paid. I know every person in the world who lives for music would give anything to be able to make a living playing music live, even if it wasn't For Fighters money.
Oh, one last thing, I want to thank Jacoby and the band for their shine a light promotion on suicide awareness. I lost my 17 year old nephew last August to suicide and two of my best friends. And all I can say is the shit doesn't make sense and it fucking hurts every day. So to Alex, Mike, Jenny & Nick, I hope you're looking down at us and are proud, I'm proud to have called you my friends.

Holy damn, Jacoby has never been in better form singing-wise. It's rare to see someone performing for so many years without their voice becoming only a shadow what it used to be. He and of course the whole band are killing it.
