Okay so Marin not being ashamed of hanging out with Gojo just makes me feel so happy! I love when they are together their personalities just click so well!

You should watch the chibi characters in the closing animation all the way to the end, I think they show that the two get together.
Jami, i noticed that there is a bit of an emphasis on Marin being some kind of light to Gojo. in the sewing room she is highlighted by the setting sun from the window behind her and if you look back at the scene by the fence this episode you can see that when she grabs him by his arm she is standing in the sun while pulling him out of the shade.
They get cuter as the story goes forward

I like how marins friends wasnt judging gojo, unlike the other students, that just shows that marin is good at choosing people to surround herself with.

I actually went there when I went to Tokyo before the pandemic. That scene is damn accurate and the collection of wigs they have over there are definitely high quality and priced reasonably well. The one in Ikebukuro is like a one-stop shop as the ground floor has a costume shop as well.

It’s centrally the same staff as WEP minus few people because it have the same animation producer as WEP. Just as Chainsaw Man animation producer is Jujitsu Kaisen animation producer

This might be a minor spoiler but Gojo’s classmates are actually all really nice. He just projects the hate he got from that little girl when he was a kid to everyone at school but in reality they are all nice people. They even root for them going out

From the first episode, Marin's friends were encouraging her to date the guy from the salon. Totally doesn't seem like they are trying to keep her for themselves.

Gojou is such a gigachad! You get pleasure from eroge and such content but boy really played and watched it for research purposes to better understand the character that Marin wants to cosplay.
See, I love that Marin pays for the materials. That seems like a given but it's an important point. Gojo is donating his time and skill to a friend, with some benefit to himself in that he gets to train his skills on some relatively high quality materials. It makes sense that Marin would be obligated to pay for the materials.
When Gojo was happy about being useful, I felt that.

I keep saying this is my fav ep week after week lol. But Marin chasing after Gojo when he was trying to not be seen with her for fear of the image after that 3rd party destroyed his self confidence (what little he had) and she came to pick him up in his... horrendous hiding spot lol. Reminding him that they ARE friends no matter where they are.
Also the entire shopping scene is amazing. And I love how he invested so much into researching what she's in love with. He's planted that seed of love definitely in Marin's heart by all those "thank yous" throughout the entire ep.
I cannot wait for him to say she looks beautiful when she wears the ending cosplay and she will know just how much it means for him to say that. I hope!!
You have to respect the dedication of someone who plays an off-brand game for actual research purposes, then actually has detailed notes & drawings from his research. I think Gojo had Marin hooked at that moment.

When she yells in the gym and then sighs.. Both the vocals and her body language is very expressive.
Exuberant.
And then the slide into caricature when she's being particularly playful, etc.
The art direction (likely matching the manga) keeps me engaged.

I'm an introvert so I can relate to Gojo character big time, there is a dynamic that normally happens with Introvert's and Extroverts were an introvert at times needs an Extroverted friend to help them break out of the shell so to speak.
So 24th ward died so we can have this quality animation. Worth it. Looks like something will have to be sacrificed to ensure spy family gets the same amount of love next season

Hahaha when I watch the first 2 episodes can't help it but out of curiosity I've read the manga. And now I'm on to the latest. Damn what a manga! Haha the art style is so damn amazing. Specifically the eyes drawing and art designs of the clothes. Can't even imagine that they will make it even better in anime. I love this show! Kitagawasan the best girl! Gojou-kun the best boy! Hope they make it in the anime onto the latest in manga. Were in for a ride! ♡♡♡
The thing that sticks out to me is Marin is the top girl in school, but it feels like to get into her clique the girls have to be nice and accepting of others as they are - The opposite of the typical "mean girls" trope.
Oh, and there is a music video of the ending with the singer cosplaying as Marin and 2 of her cosplays.

I love that when Marin is pulling Gojo along after she found him hiding, she is literally pulling him out of the shadows and into the light. Subtle? nah. Still great? Damn right!
I like that you point out the part that she is not afraid to approach him around other people. I think that is something that a lot of guys forget about women and that they are very about reputation and status. For the most part guys do not care about those sort of things. And I think a lot of women don't understand that about a lot of guys. So it's extremely refreshing when a woman approaches that is not reputation obsessed. And I will use the word obsessed here because I think it applies. It is way too often that women always care about what "everyone" else thinks. Don't you think it's funny when a girl comes across that doesn't care what everyone else thinks that in the minds of men she is instantly elevated to best girl? Food for thought ladies. Maybe reputation is more of a downfall and less of a perk. Like offering yourself to the social rat race.

Marin's friends don't judge her likes, they even encourage her uniqueness. But it's true they don't enjoy what she is interested in.
Gojo on the other hand is able to experience what interests her and how it overlaps with his hobbies. Their friendship is pure and honest.

Marin really is a great character, probably my fave in a long time.
My favorite scene in this episode is when Marin is screaming Gojo-kun in the empty gym like she's about to go super saiyan.

See, it's the same with me and anime. When I have a girlfriend, I know she won't be nearly as into anime as me, there are shows I like that she would never touch, but if I can get her to sit down with me to an episode of demon slayer or something more tame, I'm happy with that, just appreciate it enough to not step on it for me 😁

Fan service is shameless and I love it. Usually it gets annoying real quick but I dont know why here it doesnt bother me at all.
In this story the fanservice isn't forced - it's actually part of the story, and helps the character development.
