Это не сольный концерт Димаша, где он сам решает, как ему исполнять свои песни, это уже готовая композиция от китайских организаторов, заранее продуманная новая аранжировка и подача этой песни. Понятно же, что было согласовано и то, как Димаш будет её исполнять, какие вариации своего голоса использовать, какой темп задавать. Димашу предоставили готовый материал и он, повторяю, отлично справился. В дополнении с хором детей песня получилась интересная и по своему уникальная. Не сомневаюсь, что если бы у Димаша была возможность самому подготовить эту песню, то он бы сделал её на высшем уровне. Все его каверы, где он принимает личное участие, просто сногшибательны и очень эффектны! У Димаша потрясающее видение того, как должна выглядеть та или иная композиция. Не зря же он категорично настоял на собственном варианте исполнения французской песни SOS на проекте I'm singer в Китае в 2017. Ему предложили уже готовый вариант этой песни, но Димашу она не понравилась и он настоял на собственной аранжировке этой песни и своём видении, как её преподнести зрителям. I'm sure he knew what the song was about, but was inspired to take it into a different direction based on two lines from the song. I would say this is a new song entirely, and cannot compare it to Elaine Paige's version by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. I love that song very much. This is not that song, for there is too much change. It is a new "Memory", and looked at that way, it is beautiful, and I enjoy all the children as the little kittens. I would actually love to hear Dimash sing the original version, especially the last verses, when Grizabella begs the other cats to accept her, to touch her, to give her back a family, to let her and them understand what happiness is again, as a new day dawns. Dimash's version is the Daylight version. The original version is the night/dawn version. Dimash, thank you for this. It is cheerful and surrounds you with kittens, er, I mean children. I do prefer the original version, but there is room in this world for both, with great happiness. Your talent is undeniable. You remain my favorite singer/composer/human being of extraordinary gifts and humility. To share the Earth with you is a blessing.

Since he has the children’s choir, maybe he had to go along with the way it was presented. But I only watched that once! I couldn’t watch it here but wanted to see what others thought.
