None of them should have been killed. If Naruto didn’t exist, Sasuke would have been dead and so would his clan. Plus Danzo is an old man older than the age the 3rd said he would no longer be fit to be hokage so he was way past his prime and even he would have ended the fight with kotoamatsukami if nobody was there to save sasuke.

When Sasuke broke free from Danzos seal it was because through his hatred Sasuke was able to cause his chakra to spike and that broke the seal and freed him and allowed him to bring out his Susanoo. This is explained in the Manga. Tobi was planning on intervening and saving Sasuke but he didnt have to.

I agree with you that its interesting to watch sasukes fall into the darkness. but what rather annoys me is that its not him getting random power ups, its his opponents. him getting ms and ems has been looooong foreshadowed, so nothing random about that. what i feel is rather random is the sharingans that always appear out of nowhere. kishi is always giving the sharingan users opponents some random strength to match them and make it interesting. feels like total asspull all the time to me.
