- Riding Highland Mountain bike park early in the season with my friend Ryan. Because it was still early season, not all the trails are open, but it still made for a really solid day of riding.

Dude watching you open it up on cat's paw was nothing short of inspirational. Such a good trail, but you only rode about half of it. Your tires were in the air for the rest.

As someone who has never gone to a bike park, and barely any trails despite living next to Bentonville, i can confirm that no two bike park days are the same
You need to get out and ride man you got so many good trails in your area

I must disagree I think liquid death is aWeSoMe. Also this video is looking nice man whatever camera setup you got here is very pleasing to watch.
One thing I’d like to see more of is some 3rd person pov shots of you riding I just recently saw a fallow shot of BCpov riding and I had no clue how much he moved his knees and hips and I’ve seen you riding just before and his crazy caps that you pedal into but I wanna see the raw trail riding in 3rd person pov
Theres a few 3rd person videos out there, (nobl wheels has a few on their channel), but its not my specialty. I bring you guys along for a ride, not a photo shoot :P

That reverse toilet bowl gap thing looks so hard bc of the speed you come in at compared to the speed required to hit the jump. You must have to be a very fit and capable rider to be able to do that. And does anyone else watch other mtb RUclipsrs and think they don’t jump good but it’s bc you are used to Phil’s incredible pop he has on every jump?

@skillswithphil I'm always amazed at the speed - and - since I'm 56 and on a great hard tail, I always wonder, could I ride these trails? If you had to estimate how much slower you would have to ride vs full sus, what percent? 10% slower? 20% slower? 50? slower?

I'm glad you apologized/informed Ryan of your commentating. It definitely played a part in Ryan's brief lack of focus. Could've been a lot worse!
I would agree that the plain Liquid Death isn't that great. I do like the flavored varieties though. A lot of flavored water just tastes like it's watered down Kool-Aid, but the Liquid Death stuff has enough flavor to get the job done, but has very little sugar.
"Maybe i should add another spacer" Im not sure 140mm of travel handles those hits with any amount of spacers.

I don't run that much. At a bike park I'm running 25front 27 rear, but i also have double/DH casing tires and cushcore. The combination thats and relatively "smooth" line choices goes a long way.

Liquid death is not bad lol one of the better waters out there and you know why else it's great? It's easy to drink 3 of them in an hour whereas it's not easy to drink 60oz of bottled water in an hour. We need to get liquid Death to sponsor skills with phil and get him some of flavored seltzer waters and change his mind lol
