Not a PTO winch in the bunch.. are they banned because they out compete the electrics?

The Jeep has a God winch, one of the buggies has a PTO, some are running basic low mount Novawinchs and rest are running high end electric or hydraulic (Red Winch and Gigglepin). No issues running them in these comps.
