Having recently spent way too much money on a Creative Sensation Pro (Because it's such an expensive machine, not because I paid too much for it) I can't tell you how often I return to this to learn something new. This guy is a wonderful teacher: lovely tone, speaks at a tempo that is not too fast, not too slow, he shows details carefully, and assumes I am not an idiot. Thank you so much!
You know what John, I've had my machine for a few years now and I still come back and re-watch these videos as I forget stuff. These are amazing tutorials, thank you so much.
I own a Pfaff Creative 1475 CD, purchased about 1992. I don't know everything it will do. But, after watching this video, I am ready to buy a new Pfaff machine. Maybe not this model, but definitely it will be Pfaff. You have shown me how superior Pfaff is over other machines. Thank you for making this video!
I purchased a used Creative Sensation. I traded in my 24 year straight sewing Pfaff. I had no idea the Pfaff company had made such an incredible machine! I really appreciate this video. It helps me to understand the power of this machine and when I go to visit the dealer I purchased this machine from, I can have an informed conversation with her with my questions. Thank you so much for a very informative video. Can't wait to see video number 2!
I have been a dedicated Babylock user since 2003. But I'm selling off all my Babylocks (except for my Ovation) and I'm looking for one sewing machine that will 'do it all." I happened upon a Pfaff dealer serendipitously...so when I got home I googled the CSP. YOUR VIDEOS have made up my mind. I'm taking all that money in my bank account from selling off Babylocks and getting me a Creative Sensation Pro. I have never come across such a helpful, user friendly video as you have put together. Tell your people that you are not only helping currently Pfaff CSP owners, but you are 'selling' your product to potential customers. I'm buying this machine. I can't wait to bring it home, and when I do, your video will have already made it a familiar friend for me!! Revkat 729
This video has been so helpful. I am considering buying a used model and this has helped me go for it. I have a Pfaff 1465 CD and have just returned to sewing after 20+ years of not having space or time. I can now go in to the shop t,o "test drive" and feel much more confident about it
Great informational video!! I bought my machine at a dealer that is 300 miles distant from me and got just the very basic instruction. This has filled in all of the gaps and more! I have been working through the manual but this is SOOO much better because it touches on many things that are absent from the manual.
I have had my Pfaff for a while but can't believe how much I learned watching your video. That was amazing you are a life saver I shall watch it over again THANKS
Just purchased a Creative Sensation Pro. My dealer is great, but this video showed so much more than she was able to in the few hours I spent in her shop. Can't wait to go to the embroider video to see what I can do. Am really interested in the button holes in emroidery mode. No matter what type of machine I have had ( 5 Pfaff) I make miserable button holes. LOL
Just got my machine and was so glad to have this video to teach me all about my machine. I knew it was good but you showed me how fantastic it is. Constantly using your video . Thank you so very much for doing this video. Did a fantastic job. I use it as a reference.
Thank you! I have a Pfaff "vision" for several years and except for some particulars, is similar to "sensation pro". Thanks to this video I have learned so many things that my sewing machine can do that I didn't know. So Thank you very much.
John! YOU ARE AWESOME! I have been sewing with Pfaff machines since the 1990"S. The old brown triptronic? spelling? the 7550, 2140 upgraded to 2170, now my beloved Creative Vision. Your instructional videos have taught me soooooo much about the Vision I can't believe it! I had to keep turning on and off the Vision to see your settings on the Sensation Pro and sure enough... the settings and features are there on my Vision. A book can only go so far, but I like the visual spacial teaching instead of didactic method. If PFAFF CAN HEAR ME. HIRE THIS MAN AS A POSITIVE TEACHING CONTRIBUTION TO YOUR COMPANY. Pfaff had somewhat of a falling out when the Viking Diamond came out, but NOTHING CAN BEAT A PFAFF. You videos have made me a believer about the ActivStitch that I bought a Pfaff Sensation with everything on ebay. I believe the main problem in machine embroidery is the thread breakage. ARRGH. I can't thank you enough. Love to you and your family and my God bless you. Karma! Thanks Daniel Hayden. (on my 183rd quilt as well as shirts for the hospital I work in. Something masculine like space and sky fabrics.) :)
PFaff should employ you there service is bad not giving us to see the teaching on videos instead of having to make an appointment with the dealer and be interrupted many times and have to leave our house and driving 40 minutes to the shop. Thank you again so much, your views are extraordinary.
I apologize if I sound “gushy”, however your videos are EXCELLENT! I love my dealer in Alexandria, VA but I could not take in all the information being put out...it was too much to absorb. Needless to say, I have not been using my machine as I should or could be. Thank you for taking the time to put both these videos together, you have created a great resource that I can return to easily and am now able to better use my beloved Pfaff.
THANK YOU! I had a Creative Vision and just traded up to a Creative Sensation Pro and did not find the free classes helpful! I am a fan of village sewing now!
Awesome video! Some of the things I have learned about my machine and some of the things better explained. I love it! Looking forward to watching the other video about the embroidery functions as well. That will come next.
Thank you sooo much for this video! It really helped me learn and love my machine even more!!! I was getting very exasperated at times just trying to figure some of the features out by myself, and your video really helped me!!
This is a wonderful and informative video. thank you for taking the time to make it. I was given a Phaff creative sensation, but the person had lost the intro cd. Your videos plus the instruction book are a fantastic tool. I can't wait to start! Thanks again.
I loved this excellent demo, I am looking for a new embroidery machine, my mind was split between 2 machines, I think I have found the ONE, thank you very much for sharing.
Great videos! Pfaff should hire you for sure! However, I'd like to point out one little thing. The reason why machines have both a horizontal and vertical spool position is to accommodate 2 different spool types - Cross wound and Straight wound. Each should be used differently from the other and is actually quite important. Cross wound spools such as Mettler or Gutterman need to have the thread pull from the top of the spool. On domestic machines, the horizontal position will do this. If you're using a thread stand, then the spool would be upright - still pulling from the top. Straight wound spools such as Coats all purpose (and a few others) - need to have the thread pull off from the side of the spool in the vertical position, NOT the top as you demonstrated. Straight wound spools are not designed to have the thread pull from the top as it will cause extra twisting of the thread that can stress the thread and also cause issues when sewing. I have experienced this myself in my many years of sewing. This is generally a sewing basics 101 tidbit, and also widely shared info amongst thread manufacturers. I hope everyone understands the difference.
this is so great. I can follow at my own pace or skip to where I am having a problem. Wish I could have this on a disc so I can have it and not worry that youtube will take it down when the next model comes out..
Excellent Video. I have had my Sensation for a while but found some helpful tips and explanations in this video. Definitely worth watching even if you have had your machine for a while.
Many thanks for creating this awesome video. Your information has made my machine less intimidating and I am excited about starting to use this amazing machine.
Your CS pro video was by far the best and informative video I have seen concerning a product. Thank you. I recently purchased the Viking Epic, and was wondering if you would do a detailed vid for it
Best teacher ever!! Pfaff needs to hire you to write their manuals! You are amazing. So clear and concise. Thank you! Where are you located please? However far, it’d be worth the drive! New subbie💕
I really really enjoyed your video, thank you so much. Clear and easy to follow explanations took the fear away of touching something wrong and ruining my sewing machine. It made me sew along with you following your instructions. I learned so much. I own a Pfaff Sensation and only missed the ribbon stitches so far. Do you know if there is an upgrade for the Pfaff Sensation which includes those stitches ? Thanks again
I liked you segment on how to make a sashiko type stitch. I have a bobbin especially set aside with loosened tension for this purpose, but I can't find my instructions anywhere. Can you describe how to create a sashiko stitch with the large thread in the bobbin case and a monofilament in the top? Thanks for the great tutorial today.
I have had my machine for a couple of years now and by far this the best instruction I have seen! I had no idea about the quilter stitches 1/4 and save to the heart menu! That is pure genius! Thank you ! Thank you! I look forward to more info/videos. What is the cabinet that this Pfaff is sitting into?
Your class here is so easy to follow, I have a Pfaff Creative 2170 and would like to know if there is a video on it like this one that will cover the whole machine from start to finish? Thank you, Suzanne
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh merci merci merci ... you save my day, my life ..... I have my Pfaff for a while but there is no PFAFF dealer here in Portugal, so i had to learn by myself to use it ... and it was hard ... I wasn´t able to use my machine correctly .. Now with your video I realize that my machine is fantastic ... thank you very Much John for this Video ...
This is very well done. Unfortunately I have a 4.5 and wish that whatever differences there are between the pro and the one most of us can afford (peformance 4.0 and 4.5) could have been addressed.
I found your videos are very good thank you. Will you be doing one on the Pfaff Creative 4.5 I upgrading from the Ambition and cant decide on which Pfaff to get
Thanks so much John! Question. In a series of decorative stitches and you need to change the bobbin, how to go back to exact position of the stitch after the bobbin is changed?
I have a Pfaff Creative 2134 and I paid dearly for it. I have owned it for some time & the book is very thorough as for as sewing. I don't know how to use the Embroidery part of the machine. I have attempted to return to the retailor & the results have been very disapointing, so that's not an option. My objective is to do cute designs for my Granddaughters. Any Video, any information, or any suggestion as to where I should look would be greatly appreciated. If Pfaff has any video like this demonstration you are doing and you sre very through. Thank you for your time.
Great video , thank you. I am having trouble embroidering a design I bought online. it's a large neck line design and I have a grand hoop when I place it on machine and want to embroider I get a message " color block in both sides not allowed" what should I do?
How about adding basic specific FMQ designs like, the loopy lop, meandering or stippling, pebbles, stars, and other simple designs that a beginner quilter can use and all she does is move the fabric. Can your engineers design this under the free motion button? Just curious.
I'm trying to learn how to use the different stitches possible with my recently-acquired Pfaff Creative 1469. Any videos available to help? Does anyone know where I can obtain a program booklet for this machine? I only have the instruction manual, which refers to a "booklet" for learning the various stitches.
Will someone PLEASE tell me the length, width, height of the Sensation Pro without the embroidery unit? I've searched the internet for 2 full days! and can't find the dimensions. Much thanks to anyone who will answer.
Hello.John, this is the second time I take your course. I am a Québec resident and I can't imagine doing without your presentation on the Pfaff Creative Sensation Pro. I own a Creative Sensation the black precedent model and I would like to know if there are that many things that have been added to the Pro model. I hope your very precious informations will always ce available and I sincerely wonder why you have not been offered à lucrative contract by Pfaff to continue on with demonstrations and information on the many foot and programs that can be purchased from our retailer or from your store through internet. You are the best teacher I have ever encountered and I am deeply grateful. The fact that we can go back to the video as many times as we want makes your work so precious.
