I do love me some arcade vertical shooters, that I've never heard of before! I like Nostradamus with it's colourful graphics and the power of the E.B.A system, with it's cool phoenix attack! Hotdog Storm looks fun and it definitely has those Mega Drive vibes about it! Bang and the mech boss is gone!😄Zing Zing Zip certainly has many many wonderful helicopter helicopters in this one, also nice heels on stage clear screen! Zaviga was interesting to see with its up and down shooting mechanic and a nice bit of scaling on the player ship! Great video, I really enjoyed it!😊
Nostradamus looks very beautiful in presentation and just one of those games looks great, sounds great, and POSSILY PLAYS GREAT (despite the odd name)! I even like some of this game's quirks that could be in it's DNA 😮 I've GOTTA fire that up in MAME one day just for a decent playthrough of a game so STYLISH it DAMN NEAR HURTS!! Hammer Away looks a tad TOO GENERIC (yet a tad frantic) play for me. There's much better Helicopter (Helikopter! Helikopter!! 😇) shmups out there (let alone by Sega, the guys behind this (Don't know about Santos though 🤔 dunno who THEY are))... Hot Dog Storm seems as ridiculous as the name suggests, but kinda in a good way!! Frantic, fun, and over the top (yet another game in the MASSIVE "I SHOULD Fire This Up In MAME" list I've developed from watching these videos)!! Zip Zing Zang loocks just as wacky and MIGHT be something that just costs some of it's quality to it's ridiculousness 😳 It might be worth a try as 1943 ON "ILLEGAL Black Market Magic" (IYKYK), but it's gonna be a one and done game for EVEN myself on name... 😬 Meanwhile; Data East's Zaviga looks very... AGED (even by 1984 standards). It seems like a Xevious OR Vulgus Clone, but NOWHERE Near as Memorable unfortunately 🙃 What is MEMORABLE HOWEVER is this video from the Labs of Bloggos!! Most of them seemed pretty decent to be fair. Hot Dog Storm especially. The names can listen to your sign off though and naff off 😂
