The new wave movies with women in the spotlight are so much better, it's like a whole new dimension was missing before. Mad max and now this, movies are getting cleverer and smarter with women bringing heart to the stories.

globalcitizenn Interstellar, Inception, The Machinist, Donnie Darko, Enemy some of the "cleverer" movies out there. It's nice to see indeed something different than James Bond and Mission Impossible typed movies but you are really blinded by hint of biased.
Melissa McCarthy plus Jason Statham equals the best action comedy of all times👌👌👌. A sequel would be appreciated.

Jessen's Channel In Transporter 1, he drove a car off a bridge, BUT it was onto one of those trucks that carry cars on them, and he wasn't on fire. I didn't see Transporter 3, but Crank outdoes them all *by far* because of all the crazy stuff he did during the entire movie.

Watched it today , and it didn't dissapoint ! I was crying the whole way of laughter. at one point I couldn't eat my popcorn cause I was scared I would choke when laughing. Honestly McCarthy made this movie so funny and the whole cast was so well picked . Love this movie and tempted to go see it again😭

Saw this movie last night with my Mom and I'll be honest, I went in with some pretty low expectations, expecting a cheap laugh or two...
I honestly did not realize just how much I was going to enjoy this movie. Heck, this is probably one of the most hilarious movies I've seen in years. I was surprised by just how good it was. I'm actually kinda tempted to go see it again...and that's something I can't say about too many movies I've seen.

For a change,Jason Statham was lovely in a comic role.Expecting to see more comic roles.
Genuinely my favorite movie ever. Prior to seeing this film, I could never really say that I had a favorite movie. There were different movies I really loved and series as well. But this is really something special. It's the kind of film that you can watch over and over and never get tired of. And it is so funny, that if you ever need a pick-me-up, this should be your go-to. There's one scene that, when I originally saw it, I had to keep pausing the scene because I couldn't breathe from repeatedly bursting into laughter at each incredibly hilarious line and line delivery. Amazing cast, amazing story, and it really is some high-quality action on top of the best kind of comedy. Melissa McCarthy is a STAR - hilarious AND cool!
(Oh, and special mention to Jason Statham too, of course, who is also hilarious in this! Don't know how he kept a straight face sometimes...XD)

rc12071 I saw it today and while similar, it is EXTREMELY different. And so much better. Better actors, better plot and full of action that is not fake and makes you want to rip your eyes out at how bad it is.

Saw this movie today - a definite must. It has a great plot with great characters. The actors are hilarious and portray the roles perfectly. It is mixed comedy and action, but the comedy doest downplay the brutality of the action. You'll laugh a lot - a minimum of 10 times.
I’ve NEVER laughed as hard as i did in this movie. And this is coming from someone who rarely laughs in movies, i’m serious this movie goofy asf and amazing asf.

This movie was surprisingly great. Really great, I laughed a lot with it and it's actually really good filmed, written and acted. I way better that what the trailer shows and Melissa McCarthy is a fantastic actress.
And Rose Byrne stoles the show, plain and simple, each movie I've seen of her makes me realise how criminally underrated she is. Playing drama or comedy, making accents...she's an amazing actress and such an scene-stealer. I wouldn't mind to see her nominated for Best Supporting Actress for this movie, seriously.
Anything Melissa is in I will watch, even movies I usually wouldn't. She is just too funny to ignore :)
