    these short battles are just as entertaining as the long ones. good job.
    I like the war of nations idea. maybe a tech tree where some blocks are different unit type or strength for each color depending on a grand strategy map condition or level ups for the generals.

    I love this video. It's so chaotic :)
    I have an idea for the future:
    Every selection field get one building at the battlefield and if this building gets destroyed the troop or bonus can't used.
    Then you have a small city and the main target is the headquarter at the end.
    You can add a rebuild too. For example: if the building gets destroyed the selection field must be hit 10 times to rebuild it and after this the troop can be used again

    A unit type I realized was missing as I was watching this: Paratroopers.
    Make it an early high-cost unit, available at tier 2 and costing maybe 4 marbles. It would spawn a transport plane that tries dropping a pack of Stormtroopers onto the battlefield behind enemy lines. It will either drop the whole pack at the far end, right on top of the enemy HQ, or start dropping them one by one when it first takes damage. The high cost would be proportional to the number of troops spawned, I'd expect a pack of at least 15, maybe the full 20 (usually stormtroopers are 5 per marble).

    Here's some stuff that I thought about while watching this video:
    there should be something preventing marble from being stuck over the canon
    there should be a limit on special units like planes or tanks (to avoid tanks mountain or plane bypassing every unit and taking the hq or killing everyone thus making the subsquent troop raid an automatic win)
    plane shouldn't be able to attack hq (win by air raid, while funny, are anticlimactic imo)
    maybe add longer range units that can also take out planes? (maybe redundant with the limit and/or them not attacking hq)
    i feel like there too many rifflemen and too few mortar, machine gun etc in the backline, maybe because you can only get riflemen while starting? which is especially strange, as most of the time it's riflement that wins the game with a giant wave. Maybe making the starter thing either increase either over time or with a +1 rifleman option in the 2nd or third unlockacble section , or making 2 option for riflement with one being like x2 at the start and a x20 further down the line? Or buffing the number of riflemen, mortar etc being spawned at once. Or making that section of the trenches can only be used by one unit like the back is only mortar, the middle only machine gunners and front the others?
    add a "deathmatch mode" with rounds, no respawn between rounds, either side build their armies inbetween rounds and first to x won rounds win the encounter
    add an "upgrade mode", with continuous riflemen spawn from hq and marble at the top can upgrade either the hq (with turret which can themselves be upgraded), the spawn rate of troops (they spawn 10% faster, +1 of a specific unit by spawn wave) or troops themselves (+10% hp for rifflemen, or 10% attack speed, whatever stat they have, though I think speed may make them not able to get stuck in trenches)
    I remember from your bloopers about surrenderig there were rifflemen getting stuck on the ceilling of the map and killing the enemy hq from above, maybe add an autokill if a unit get too high in the sky? Also paratroopers could be cool and force the enemy's backline to change
    add ramps behind bunkers, so troops don't get stuck and the assault around 31:30 where they climb over the bunker and jump on the enemy was cool as fuck

    A shame pc died at 9:14, the early mortar spam from purple combined with sandbags gave them a half decent chance of surviving pink's onslaught imo.

      Also, "copy marble" seems strong for a first section slot, but a single extra marble feels unimpactful. May I suggest "split marble," where as the name implies, two marbles are created with half the original value? It might lessen cases where multiple 600+ marbles drop directly into the rifle slot while potentially improving unit variety.

    I also wanted to say this for a long time. Remove these terrible walls from sandbags, they don’t help at all, but on the contrary, they prevent the balls from moving. Replace them with something or add mines instead that will explode when a ball of the opposite color steps on them. Yes, there can still be a lot of them, but they won’t interfere with the balls’ movement. and even if there are a lot of mines, it may well help from a wave of 1000+ balls. Please think about it.

    Have you considered a long series of a complete campaign?
    A map with various points where the two sides would battle each episode for control until one side pushes to the others main control point.
    Could have separate branches or even perks of certain points
    Additional factions/allies

      There's still a lot of space for optimisation, but realistically there would need to be unit count limits to be able to run it real time. Maybe a few thousand at a time.

      Something got bugged in the spawner. For some reason the timing of the regular blue+yellow marble spawn was off, and the yellow marble spawning was delayed. Which then I think caused it to do the opposite of what it should, and spawn a new yellow marble on every tick that it wasn't spawning a new blue marble, instead of spawning a new yellow along with a new blue. Something like that.

    9:13 looks like the marbles have defeated your computer.
    But the first battle demonstrates the problem: indeed, there are too many multipliers in the first area (copying marble and multiplying by 3). Maybe multiplication by 3 should be moved to the second tier? It will be felt that the second tier is definitely cooler than the first

      Okay, well, I actually love math. So let's do some math. Let's assume that the chance to get into each compartment is equal. This is a very rough assumption, but the reality will not differ too much. I can make a model and calculate the true probabilities, but it's much better to just run the simulation for a long time and get the exact numbers. For now, I will reason from the assumption that the probabilities are equal. In the first zone we have 5 fields. 1 of them is stupid (officer), 1 is very strong (10 infantrymen), 2 multipliers. Let's take the infantry for 1 conventional unit. In general, this zone received 1.2 points (taking into account the multipliers and pieces that it gives). In order for the next zones to be cooler, it is necessary that they have more points. Machine gunners, mortars and grenade launchers are cool, of course. However, they are situational. I can hardly give them more than 1 point each. In total, this is 0.75 points. Disgusting result. The last zone is a place where it is really difficult to count. Moreover, you have often redone it. I'll take the values from trench warfare 20. Sandbags have some effect, but it is poorly felt. I will estimate it at 0.5 points, although tests are needed. Tanks are good. When they are worth 2, they definitely have an effect. I will estimate them at 2. Planes for 2 costs are normal. I will estimate them at 1.5.       The big thing I've noticed is that the slot right up against the wall in the opening is more likely than the other options. The gun shoots the marbles with enough velocity to reach the wall, but not enough to bounce off of it with any significant force, meaning that the wall effectively acts as an extension of the 3X until it gets pushed back

    I would love to see more videos like this! The massive waves or glitches are so satisfying to watch. If you have anymore runs that ended too early because one side became overwhelmingly powerful too quick, I'd say instead of throwing them away, post them in compilations like this! Good stuff.

    A comment from Bilibili suggests:
    The trench warfare has lasted for 20 seasons.
    The initial seasons were not well-received due to weak infantry attacks, late technology unlocks, and slow combat pace. The 20th season witnessed a qualitative change as both sides engaged in a 20-minute battle under the highest-level technology.

    Furthermore, we can speculate that the recent changes in the game were primarily aimed at suppressing the "human wave" tactic. However, the direction of these changes may not be correct. Instead of weakening the effectiveness of the human wave, we need to prevent it from occurring in the first place. The occurrence of a human wave is a probabilistic event, and the longer the battle lasts, the more likely it is to happen. For example, the human wave in the 20th season was created by time accumulation.
    Therefore, rather than reducing multipliers or removing the "+50" bonus, we also need to accelerate the combat pace. This way, on one hand, we can reinforce the offensive capabilities of T2 infantry (as well as T3 units), and on the other hand, we may need to lower the defensive capabilities of both sides (especially in the late game). This requires fixing the bug of volley fire having no cost and selectively removing bunkers and adjusting the logic of mortar attacks.

    Does anyone know why on the match of 35:00 the yellows right after the “all shoot” they gain a godly amount of marbles and become army of the sun?

      Looks like a marble got stuck in a spot where it didn't get teleported away but triggered the teleport over and over, spawning infinite marbles. You can see it flickering a laser to the shooter.

    I maintain my position that the 3x and copy marble should not both be in the first box. It makes big spawns far too easy to happen. Like we see here it’s basically guaranteed every time, its not special.

      Some tips:
      - Thumbnails are everything. It's difficult to say what exactly makes a good thumbnail, but spent some time comparing your thumbnails with those of popular channels. I find that a simple thumbnail with bright colours tends to work well.
      - I assume you're using Unity. By default, the 3D settings look very washed out, so try experiment with post-processing or shaders to make the colours "pop" a bit more. As above, in our corner of youtube simpler, brighter visuals tend to do well.
      - Don't post too many videos. When you're starting out, it's fine to post a lot, but afterwards try to stick to 1 per week or even less.

      No, not necessarily. There are many channels that get picked up by the algorithm even with few videos. The important things are to make a thumbnail that people will click on, and then delivering on the promise of the thumbnail by making a video that people will watch for long.
      The point about uploading many videos early on is while you're busy experimenting, try different things, different thumbnails, visuals, formats, etc, until you hit something that performs better.

      An issue I foresee with that is sound FX overload when something like All Shoot is activated while there are close to a thousand troops culminated both sides counted. RIP Headphone users in other words.

      For a long time I've been wanting to make a third channel where I do some devlog/behind the scenes/tutorial videos, but I'm not sure if/when I'll ever get around to it.
      You could learn through game development tutorials, but then you'd just have to skip past all the control stuff (which is usually most of it). Search for unity tutorials, godot tutorials.

    Love this video as usual but some of the songs you put in the background make it less enjoyable. Especially the first song is just a bunch of wanna be fancy words. Like why would you randomly say human error, Evolution and this is the future on a beat drop. Most songs are nice and fitting but this one just makes me cringe a little every time

    In the second to last simulation, why did the 81 ball cause a cascade of marbles to shoot out after landing in the All Shoot slot around 35:00?
