The Peste quest can bug out sometimes. Had the mission and with the help of several others sunk him on 3 separate occasions. Group member also had problems getting credit. Got the loot and chests but never the credit so I could end the stupid thing. Ended up abandoning it. Perhaps I'll try again sometime later when it comes up.
What u got to remember it's only been out just over a month and half. Constant updates, which all good news.

68 chests farming both Le Peste and the Princes, no sails. Only to discover on this update that they are time gated to event rewards. No one seemed to have a definitive answer/explination! 😂😂😂
I knew we got stuff feom the weekly quest from seasonal vendor dude, but I thought they wrre captain cosmetics from last weeks rewards.
Weird too, because I ended up getting the hull colors out a Le Peste locker so was focus farming and gave up.
There really should be a website developped that explains loot/drop tables. I know one of the content creators shared a website akin to such with ship builds/etc., but I cant seem to find the video now, or remember the website!

Im only missing his hull set cant seem to get it just shi. In his chest but i have a better set a few that are no longer to get now
Didn’t give me the flag after I killed la peste…maybe I have to try again also, how are people getting ship cosmetics from the Rode Maangodin? I’ve sank the main ship like 5 times and all I get is commodities. I know it’s usually rng based but at least the normal ghost ship I got cosmetics fairly easily.
I got my sails from a chest, id opened about 30 to get them

Question! I don't have LaPest sails. Can i get that in LaPest lockers or is that eaven possible to get at this point?
And i think Zamaharibu will come back to bountyboard rotation at some poin, so don't worry guys.
The sails haven't been released personally I think it might be the last reward as they look so cool but who knows :)

Personal preference is a wonderful thing.
Different art styles, playstyles and approaches. Completely different ganes that only have a 'pirate theme', in common, and that is it. Its like comparing Sailor Moon to say, Looney Toons because they are both cartoons.
(Or if you know anime, like comparing Sailor Moon to Ghost in The Shell, because both are anime.)
To me, SnB is more adult themed and SoT is like a Sunday Morning Cartoon. Not my thing. SnB is the more mature appearing game of the two, aimed at a more matured-tastes audience than SoT is. For non-anime fans its like comparing Looney Toons to Breaking Bad. Sure, they are both T.V. shows, but are wildly variant in every way that fact as a side note.
Also SoT has been out how long, vs. SnB?
In another year and a half to two years, SnB will be way thicker with content than it is now.
See, what a lot of folks who knock SnB saying "AAAA hurrr", fail to acknowledge (not saying you are, but its the common hollow mockery in which folks with no love for this game draw a line to mock it with)- is the context in which that was referenced was aimed at 'over time', in relation to being Live Service, and a game that will consistently grow and improve. Which it has, massively in such a short window of time since launch. In fact, hard to vompare any Live Service Dev Teams to this dev team except how DE was with Warframe, and even then: it took them a long long time to expand that game. But its the best comparitive stance dev team to dev team, regarding player feedback and active productive game growth (so far).
I hope that honestly, all these early event cosmetics are purely locked to this timeframe and not re-released, honestly: as a reward to players who were here early, with faith. Either you had faith in this game enough to be here to get them, or not. It would be a fair nod to the loyal playerbase that is much mire massive than bandwagon creators hating on this game would have anyone believe exists!
Sort of like Chicken Little (or whatever that story was with the little chicken on the farm making bread): and no one had faith in her, or were willing to toss ingredients her way to help, chosing instead to mock her- but once the bread was done, all wanted some.
SOT is for 12yr olds now.

I used to sweat sot all the time. It fell off badly
