Leigh Trevail Cine Archive (046): Burnham Week 1958.

Sadly much of this film has suffered over the years. The start has faded to almost black white which then turns into a pink hue. However should you opt to persevere with this it will later return to the true colours you would expect. My knowledge on sailing is zero so I am not in a position to decide what is worth saving and what is not!
Although labelled “Burnham Week 1958” some of the footage may have been taken at a different time. Clearly shown is the Aldous boat yard in Brightlingsea, whilst not on the Crouch it is not far away. Equally there are some rather large ships for the area.
