You Sir are an absolute legend. My drivers doors on both Berlingo's (Past and current) have clunked and I've always put it down to getting used for courier work and getting excessive wear. During that last storm the wind took its toll on the door and caused the clunking to stop! Unfortunately there's now no resistance on the door at all so needs to be fixed as it keeps hitting me and free swinging out! I've bought the bits off eBay and will now have a crack at this myself thanks to your video as it did seem rather complicated to remove the door on these.
Blimey, I fixed the rattle in an hour. Thanks Matt. What joy to get to the little screw and find it was actually loose. Made a plastic lever from a bike tyre lever and only broke 2 studs.
Thanks for this. Middle aged female managed, both driver and passenger door sorted. 5 clips broken in total and replaced. Only setback was one tiny piece of clip fell inside door frame, not making a noise at the moment, but will see But rattling stopped both sides, on both sides it was a loose bolt on the window section. Loctite and tightened. So still got to pay to get clutch and suspension sorted 😭, but at least my doors aren't rattling 🎉
I can hardly believe that I am going to have to spend a day mucking about taking the panel off for the want of a drop of loctite from Citroen. The rattling panel is driving me insane. What is wrong with these people?
I recently had that sorted. Got some dodo sound deadening pads, don't need to cover all areas for it to help, but also added some insulation (the recycled plastic bottle stuff from b&q) on top of that, all sealed by plywood If not ply lined, the dodo mats themselves alone help considerably
Would the loose door bar explain a rattle that sounds like it’s coming from the dash / A-pillar / above drivers head in a berlingo van ? I don’t really notice it from the door, although I do get that cracking noise when it open / shuts, but it’s driving me nuts at about 1500rpm !
Thanks for posting! I've just fixed the rattles in both drs but broke a good few of the plastic studs in the process Can anyone give a link to the proper replacement ones online??
@@GoGreenAutos I think I found some now, so thanks for replying. I also have an annoying vibration/rattle from the overhead cabin light. Have you ever had to deal with that?
@@White_Chapel No, not had that one yet. But it could be the supply wire to the light rattling. You can buy fabric tape (anti-rattle or wire loom tape) which is handy stuff to stop rattles.
@@GoGreenAutos Cheers mate. I'll try that. Nothing worse than these rattles and vibration noises when driving at low speed or in traffic. Thanks again 👍
Do you have any remedies for a driver door that's become difficult to close properly? Pull too hard and it bounces back - too soft and it just doesn't click shut properly at all. It can take several attempts to get the damn thing to close!
@@GoGreenAutos Thanks. Mine's an old van though - 2011 - and only just had the problem in the last year. But now also, both elec windows have packed in - again - so I'll see if the garage can sort it. This might be its last garage visit before I put it out of its misery. :))

Very informative well explained
Thanks. Glad you found it useful.
Brilliant stuff.
I found that removing the clips whorked perfectly with a bit of string, just get it under the rubber and pull
Big thanks!!!
Really helpful thanks!!!
Do you have any experience with road/tyre noise in the cabin of these vans and how to reduce it?
Thanks!

Cooper grease to lubricate mechanism
Where can I get a rear door lock repair clip? Very common thing to go, but I can't find part number 9135 E4. Any advice?😢
New - your Citroen/Peugeot dealer or try eBay or AutoDoc. Used, try eBay.

No, the common loose window regulator bar is only noticeable when shutting the door. You've probably got a broken plastic clip or fixing somewhere.

Such search on eBay for "Peugeot Partner door card clips".
