Of course all of the intricate desserts are beautiful, but I think lots of people will be less intimidated trying out these ones first 😌❤️ and I actually find I enjoy simple cakes the most for some reason.

I know I am beating the whole point of it being a pound cake with the measurements. It rose well, although not as high as yours. Texture is great. For you who asked for measurements in cups, please invest in a kitchen scale. They are pretty cheap and useful. Cup doesn't always give you the proper measurement at times. Also, Korea and most places in this world do not use cup unit measurement, so Cooking Tree you do you.

I am bad in making cake but I am proud to say that it was the best cake that I have ever bake (so far). The taste is good. The sweetness just nice, it was crispy on the edge of the cake and soft in the inside. The texture has small sponge which proves that it was not dense. The only bad side is... it was not moist which I think that is the function of the milk. Thank you COOKING TREE and I am excited to try the other recipes.

Family approved recipe!! the only thing is i did not release the air bubbles enough and left some small bubbles near the top, other than than, the cake looked and tasted perfect! thanks for the trick of putting butter at last to avoid taking out the cake in the midst of baking and easy to follow recipe.
I followed your pound cake recipe to make Calamansi Butter Loaf and it turned out great! It's moist and soft especially if it has been set in the chiller overnight! However, I did made a few changes: I did not use butter to initiate the 'crack' instead, I run a knife halfway down the middle of the batter before baking, after baking I brush it with calamansi sugar syrup! It's yummy!

That pound cake looks fantastic. The crumb is so tight and consistent 👌 I'm just sad that I can't make this since my butter would melt in a hot second after taking it out of the fridge.

Love a pound cake! I made it the old fashioned way once but a pound of eggs...umm maybe a bit much. Made it taste like a sweet omelette. Not quite what I was hoping for. This looks beautiful though. Got flashbacks seeing 6 eggs but I’ll give it a go.
@@someone-pf4ur no, cake flour has a lower gluten content so it stays soft even if you mix it longer compared to all purpose flour. but you're right in this simple cake it wont matter much
