This is an EPIC episode. I can just listen to Chael mess around and look back on stuff all day long
This has to be the most fun podcast episode I've ever listened to. So thank you Flagrant and thank you Chael for delivering
You are correct. This podcast was awesome!
My favorite Chael moment is when he is talking about the mean streets of Oregon. Master comedy! 😂😂
“We had it so bad there was one year where my dad didn’t even make 100 grand or just barely did”
I'm from a hood where the median Income is $23k a year, lower than Camden NJ. Over 400 abandoned buildings & lost more homies than I can count to the streets. That being said I know I couldn't make it in the mean streets of West Linn, Oregon.
Chaels fans got the best fucking sarcasm 🤣
The bit he was doing about junior seau was messed up but master comedy also lol

Most entertaining podcast i've ever watched. I've never watched a podcast from start to finish without stopping multiple times. I didn't stop once. Great stories.. not sure if they're all true but was great entertainment.
By far my favorite pod they’ve done tbh. Never did I even think of not watch this all the way through.
Please bring Chael on again. It’s always great as a longtime mma fan to see legends in interviews, but he’s one of the greatest story tellers of our generation. Dude can literally make anything interesting. We love you Uncle Chael!
Not one boring minute in this whole podcast, very rare and i loved it
I rarely get hooked on a podcast like this. Great episode
Bro is leading this whole podcast, his voice is electric and has a boom to it. Dude is a stand up guy!! Great podcast
Wild story, a good friend of mine from Westlinn Oregon had a younger brother that was diagnosed with some type of terminal cancer. I don’t remember exactly what type of cancer he had specifically but he looked up to Chael and was really into his wrestling and when his fights when he was first coming up in the game. Anywho he wanted to meet Chael and supposedly make a wish foundation reached out and Chael hung out with that kid for a week straight. Not sure how valid the story is but I was a fan ever since.
Chael is legitimately a great person so I’d bet the story is prob true
I’d bet it’s true also. Outside the cage cheal is an extremely stand up, genuinely caring and nice dude.
Chaels youtube channel is a goldmine. This is a master entertainer at work. I've been listening to him for years but he's really tapped into a new dimension over the last year or two. This is truly a master who is dedicated to his craft
the amount of times Chael grabs an empty cup and nobody bothers to ask if he needs a drink lol
Fuckin get uncle chael a drink man
😂😂😂 THANK U FOR CONFIRMING MY THOUGHTS. WHAT GETS REALLY GETS ME IS HE HAD SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO DISPLAY HIS GREATNESS AT PIN POINTING A STORY WITH A SIMPLE " OF COURSE YOU COMEDIANS CAN FIND ME HARD TO BELIEVE BY THE FACT THAT NOT ONCE WERE ANY OF YOU UNDERSTANDING MY SUDDEL,YET VERY IN YOUR FACE CLUES, OF HOW I AM IN NEED OF SOMETHING TO DRINK U FOOLS!! "
*Can’t believe Chael didn’t just SPEAK UP*
Lmao thats an asian worry
it's funny cause I didn't notice that once and I'm 50% through the video. as I was reading your comment uncle chael grabbed his cup 😂
This was one of my favorites. Chael is super interesting and engaging, loved all of it ! Not even in love with the sport, but his personality and presence captivated my attention!
Hands down my favorite episode so far. I wasn't expecting it to be so top tier.
Chael's storytelling, articulation, the way he makes everyone feel heard in a room of 5 people. Love this guy
It’s his job, Shultz payed him to come on to the show. Chael don’t do things unless he gets paid.
@@danielmacias9725 how do you know?
47:00 IT WAS ME! I ASKED THE QUESTION DURING THE MELBOURNE Q&A. Love you Chael!
How nice of Chael to let the boys on his show!

Andrew and his crew are mesmerized sitting in the presence of Greatness. Uncle Chael the Undisputed GOAT in Combat sport history.
Uncle Chael never disappoints in telling epic tales in a room full of comedians or around a camp fire full of kids.
This has to be in the top 10 best podcasts ive enjoyed. Amazing work. Great stuff Chael.
If this was a weekly show I'd never miss an episode
I love watching Chael’s videos, I wish he did long form content like this more often !
Wonderful conversation , already a big fan of both but even just talking about their dads really felt so wholesome. Awesome man
Chael is a great example of the classic saying "He's got the gift of the gab"
Within 5 mins of listening to this I switched to watching it. This couldn't have been better, this pod was fantastic!!
42:51 This small exchange from Uncle Chael to Andrew is so human, just him asking because of his own grief over his own dad's passing and he wanted to see where Andrew's head was at with his own experience.
i heard him say “good for you” at that moment and i knew how he meant it
@@ZUvNy2AdjbXB3 Am I deaf? All I'm hearing is good for you after Andrew says he's still alive
@@PunjabiPiccolo yes lol he did say good for you
@Kevin Kotak Ok, thanks lol I was thinking there's no way my ears are this bad. I know I be wearing them earbuds too often, but damn 😂
Y'all right I misremembered it as God bless you
😂
But you know the sentiment was there
Chael is the 🐐! His ability to captivate an audience and tell a story about anything is uncanny!
Chael being interviewed in long form = most entertaining podcast ever
No dude
@@davemccombs yes dude!!
Try harder
One of the last fighters who truly knew how to cut a promo
Now it’s unrealistic call outs n horrible trying to hard to trash talk when not good at it
I could have a Chael podcast every week. Legendary entertainer, everyone's favourite.
Chael is so believable that even when he's lying, he's still telling the truth. His truths not only sound believable but BETTER. We need to keep this guy safe. Truly one of a kind.
From someone who's watched just about every Chael interview...this is Absolutely the best Chael interview ever! Thanks Guys!
Chael is probably my favorite guest you've ever had on the podcast
The best Flagrant podcast I've ever seen. You have to get Chael on every few months!
7:52 Listening to this part while watching Chael’s face as he listens to himself is priceless.
Watching Chael in a room with a bunch of people who barely know who he is, is an absolute treat.
Came here for Chael. Never disappoints. The absolute GOAT
‘I always tell the truth…even when I lie’
Chael P. Sonnen
😂❤
I love how he threw the LeBron stuff in there and then pretty much said. "I'm telling stories here, some might be true, some not."
That Lebron one true. Now everything makes sense why he playing like this for so long. When he retires it’s only going to get worse for that dude
@@Biggbobb That's soo true. We can the same for Tom Brady. 7 freaking Super bowls. Wow!

Chael had the perfect mindset to be a fighter, smart as hell knowing how to play the game and actually loved being the underdog
That was really nice of Chael to have Andrew on his show😅
I am very surprised, this is the best podcast I have seen in a long time and I am an avid watcher of JRE. Awesome Job, you guys are getting a lot better at hosting.
Never lost a fight, never lost a podcast listener either. Uncle Chael is the most charismatic force in MMA
Shame I wasn’t aware/interested in MMA when Chael P was in his prime.
Dude is one of a kind, and a legit badass, hilarious gentlemen
The best thing about this episode is Chael can understand that Andrew's knowledge of the game is phenomenal
Just living a mere 20 mi from this god of a man is truly a blessing. I can feel his greatness from here. Lord, Chael Sonnen, the man, the myth, the legend, all that I aspire to be.
Awesome podcast. Chael just has that " IT" factor in him. Literally a hypnotist when he opens his mouth. No bull. Doesn't matter what it is, it's in his voice or something. Just can't put my finger on it. It's a helluva gift to have.
Agreed. Chael is dope.
It's called the gift of gab, he has it, he's a good speaker and can hold people's attention.
I thought by "IT" you meant he's a clown who likes the taste of kids.
@@dirkdiggler2695 yea I usually just listen to podcasts and game or something but I stopped playing and watched this 2.5 hour podcast from like 10 min in to finish. And I wasn’t even planning on watching this episode cuz I had no idea who Chael was. It just autoplayed while gaming 😂
@@Sacredsnow2 even though his content appears to be purely MMA, it is much more then that. Highly recommend any of his videos. Do not let the titles fool you...
Uncle Chael is peak entertainment, you hang off of every word and can't look away when the man is on the mic
This was the BEST pod of the year and I’m 100% sure nobody’s topping. **Flagrant chef’s kiss
Just finished the entire episode and this is the best episode of flagrant I've ever heard. Its an episode anyone can like couldn't recommend it more
Chael took the advice "never let the facts ruin a good story" to heart. Once the panel realized that it was awesome.
He literally tells everyone that he plays a character to sell tickets. He tells the audience he studied Kaufman and pro wrestling. From the beginning he lets you know this performance art. Yet, he blends the gimmick and reality in a way that leaves some people wondering and others completely marking out.
