So far, after a couple weeks of use, I'm really liking this Tomtoc sling of the same model/color. I can fit way more than I thought I could. I usually carry my Kindle Signature Edition w/ case , 5000mAh slim battery bank side by side in the gear slash pocket; it was a perfect fit. Also in the main compartment, I was able to fit my small 1.8 fl oz hand sanitizer, a HydraPak (STOW) 500ml/17 fl oz flexible water bottle (flask shaped & filled), a bandana, a Kind bar, a charge cable, Reycon Everyday Earbuds, 1 spare AA, 2 AAAs, an Olight i5T AA size light, and my eyeglasses in a neoprene case. If I leave the HydraPak empty or remove it entirely, I can fit a lot more on top of what I've already mentioned. In the front pocket, I keep a thumb drive, spare wired earbuds, a short USB-C charge cable, an Olight i3T AAA light, and several moist towelettes. I also like the seatbelt-like strap since it's not too wide or too narrow. For things like the HydraPak, I attached a #4 size S biner. If cost wasn't an issue, I'd definitely go for the Aer Day Sling 3 or the equivalent City Sling.
This bag has been my daily carry for a few months now and I’m liking it. It easily holds my Kindle or iPad Mini and my Nintendo Switch Lite. My only gripe is I’m a big guy and the strap is a little shorter than I’d like, but it hasn’t been too much of an issue.
Great review thanks! Helping me make my purchase decision! Does that strap issue you dont like also flap apart or is there a keeper that holds them together?
I have tried bellroy venture 9L and Alpaca Max 2 I would say Venture 9L is by far the best small (yes 9L is small for me) the strap is the best part where it's sinches and compress the bag while the at the same time it angles the bag just the right amount Alpaca max 2 is different bag I would compare it to tomtoc 9L ( that holds 14in laptop) and Aer Tech sling 2, I would say alpaca has the better strap but tomtoc has but design and ease of use, aer is mid
I probably won’t make this video, the bags are identical but the only difference is size. I’d say go with the small one unless you need to fit something larger than an iPad mini in it. In that case, go for the larger bag.
Fantastic review thank you! RUclipsr tip: a microphone will take you to the next level 😉
I really nice job on this review. I’ve had this sling for a couple of years now and love it. They now have a new version with a different material.
Thank you for the detailed video, it really helped buying the tomtoc sling bag

Thanks for the details! Great for anyone wondering how people use the bag daily. I’m glad you’re enjoying the bag!

Thanks for the review of the Tomtoc. Helped make up my mind on what to buy.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
Okay I’m getting this. Thanks mate!
Good review and comparison. I like the position of the straps vs Aer 3. Fit and finish Aer 3 with x-pac looks better.
Thanks Jason! Totally agree.

There’s no keeper, but they just flap apart. And I appreciate the feedback!
@@AlekseyG Thanks!!
My only gripes on this one is the color of the internal compartments, hard to see on a certain places.
Yeah true. I like the XPac version of the Aer Day Sling 3 specifically for this reason.
Tomtoc just released a xpac version with orange interior
Good looking out. Excellent video! I I'll buy it 😀
Thanks! Let me know how you like it!
@Aleksey You're welcome. Imma buy Olive Green version because it's upgraded single-strap design
Nice, good choice.
@Aleksey Thanks, my guy! I appreciate your review on this cool sling bag😃
The TomToc is almost an exact copy of the Aer Daysling 2. 😂
Yeah, it’s very similar. But I’ll give them credit, the value-prop is very good, it’s genuinely a good product.
I have tried bellroy venture 9L and Alpaca Max 2

Could you do a compare and contrast of the medium 7L size with this one?
