Don't underestimate the People of the Philippines because so many of them have degrees and can speak English. Maybe, the Philippines is not a rich country but the parents trying to give their children a good education. Education is a treasure forever until the end of a person ❤❤❤
And we use English in all our text books in schools/universities .its tough but Filipinos are smart in that case.❤
A lot of filipinos don't have education.
Philippines still have a lot of rich people without the welfare system in America a lot of people would be on the streets. Also living expenses is different in New York city than it is in Arizona. So just because someone makes more money in their country than someone else in another country doesn't mean they are richer.
Educated doesn’t necessarily equal smart. Plenty of uneducated smart people and vice versa.
Western men go to the Philippines to find wives because Filipinas have not given up their femininity. They are what western women were decades ago- smart, supportive, feminine, values family, wants children, will strive for a stable happy home.
I’d rather my sons find a more traditional wife than what is offered in the west. They are more likely to find that in the Philippines. Someone who values family, home, children, etc.
Fun fact: Philippines is actually Top 5 of the most well spoken English in the world.

As a Pinay, all I have to say is- we don't need to explain or prove who we are to anyone, especially not to those women who speak so ignorantly on Filipinas. We're obviously doing something right to cause such a stir. 😂 If you know, you know and if you don't, you will. Also when Ampato Muñoz won Ms. Universe in Manila the spanish interpreters were filipinas. There was a time where we speak Spanish, English and Filipino all at the same time.

Kaya sa totoo lang hinding hindi mai tataas ang mga sariling noo ng bawat Pinoy at dahil na rin sa Kadugyotan at hindi mabilang na mga eskuater at slum areas sa Pinas,mga batang nagkakalat o naglalaro lang sa gitna ng kalsada na mistulang aso o unggoy lang,mga vendors na kung saan saan lang ,mga basura na nagkakalat sa kahit saan,mga sobrang traffic,mga kawatan na citizen at corrupt na politicians,mga bandidong Komunista,bulok at maalisumoot tignang jeepneys at trycicles na sobrang maalisumoot tignan kasama na ang primitive style na ang mga bangka sa dagat na gawa lang sa plywood at may nakasabit pang mga kawayan sa bawat gilid, mga hindi mabilang na Spaghetti wires,mga walang disciplinang mga tao at marami pang iba ano talaga ang nakaka proud ha? You've a point. Kaya nga hindi na ako nag-anak kasi kahit yang mga nasa video na nakaka proud as Pinoy. Maybe they're okay how we see them but I don't know emotionally, physically and mentally if they're okay. Maybe ang coping mechanism lang nila is they did it, mayaman na sila, sikat sila, at kung ano pa para lang maka survived. Kaya mahirap minsan magsabi na we are proud kasi sila yung nahihirapan, na bu'bully not only from our country but around the world and mahirap yun mentally. Obviously sa bansa din natin at sa sinabi mong mga OFW na nasa modern day slavery. Sabi nga ang no. 1 export ng Pilipinas ay manpower. Pero hindi ko sila masisi or even the gov't officials kasi choice yan. Kung kontinto tayo sa buhay natin, kung anong mayroon, at hindi nangarap na maayos ang buhay natin hindi tayo aalis ng bansa para magalaga ng ibang bahay o tao. Kahit nga ang B.I strict na sa pagalis ng bansa but there are still Pilipinos wants to move abroad or work abroad kasi nga mataas ang hinahangad and why not, at the end of the day buhay nila yun.
Kaya chill lang kabayan. Wala na tayong magagawa kasi nasa sa atin din yan. Let just be proud sa kung sino man yang mga public figure na kilala sa ibang bansa.
Minsan, nakakatuwa din na pag sinabi mong Pinoy ka sa ibang bansa and they know someone na sikat na Pinoy (ex. Many Pacquiao). It's nice na nakikilala yung bansa natin not just as a maid or tagalinis ng pwit ng ibang tao. 😊🍻

My other question din po ay sino po ba ang may kasalanan sa pagpili ng mga Leaders ng bansa diba tayo rin naman po? So bakit yung mga namumuno lang sinisisi natin? Dahil may kapangyarihan sila, yes. Nakakaiyak naman hihihi.. :) I know how different we are from others, mapa skill, talent, at perseverance at pag uugali. I am also proud being Filipino. I am a Principal Architect here in the foreign land, hindi sa pagmamayabang, I find myself very talented and suited in this field, hindi lang sa pagiging hardworking but may deep sense of passion and innate talent ang nagluklok sa akin sa mataas na posisyon ko ngayun. And I am also a singer, a digital artist, a painter, a dancer and a writer (poetry), I don't know saan ko nakuha ito pero lumaki akong nakahiligan ko lang na walang nagtuturo, pero may ginagayahan kasi gusto mong matuto dahil masaya ka eh, yung ganung feeling. Sinasabihan ako ng mga foreign colleague ko, what else I can't do? Sinasabi ko nalang na I am a Filipino, and our country's diverse culture and geography define who we are and how we are brought up by that environment and society. I think to be honest a lot of Filipinos are quite intelligent, the problem is more ignorance as many of the population live in rural areas, with sub par education and old beliefs, that still persist today. i have visited the country a few times and am always impressed by the resourcefulness and skills of many of the people there.
