Wow,thats a amazing custom.i just got myself one and wanted to do something similiar.Btw,is the base custom too.Its hard to find a skull thst size, once again Awesome work.
superb paint job this looks like real rusted metal. the thing i hate though is the huge abc robot type jaw on this neca endo version, i know there are limitations to what can be done with modifications. thats why i recast my figures into clay when necesary to improve them & then ifinally into fibreglass using a push moulding method with plaster negative moulds the results are good
Yeah your are limited, but this figure was less than $40 bucks when it was first released. It's a perfect candidate for makeovers. You can see after a few mods it looks so much better. Actually I wasn't going for a rusted metal look, more dirty oil seepage and burnt metal damage as this metal should not rust. But still for the price that it was, you can't go wrong with modding this figure. It's too bad NECA hasn't done a re-release of this figure.
@@Simulator8101 I generally do not do "How to Videos" because I'm only focused at the project at hand and It would take me much longer to complete the custom. Some projects are quite time consuming and you need to really maintain concentration with all the customizing work going on. Otherwise you risk making errors and spending more time to fix them.
Weathering was achieved by utilizing a mixture of black & brown washes along with Testors Metallizer paints. I don't use a specific color as I generally paint with a mixture of shades until I get the look that I like. For the eyes, I use brass tubing for the circular shape and add in fiber optic lines for the lenses. I use the original leds that come with the figure for the light delivery.
@@bigsteed007 Just be careful since that figure is quite expensive. Was a bit disappointed that HT did not have the chest area open for more added detail. Otherwise it's great figure to have.
You got some mad skills! Either Neca should hire you or Hot Toys should hire you! Good job making my quarter endoskeleton looks like a fisherprice toy now. 😆
Thanks! Yeah some of my earlier Predator customs had features that NECA added after I did mine. hmmm.... LOL Well I just finished another custom so keep on eye out for that. I'll be posting it soon. For a sneak peek checkout my IG.
this looks PERFECT the best modification iv'e seen yet of the poor plasticy, unconvincing NECA 18" model Endo , i never thought it could be made to look this good, to the standard of the Hot toys endo's even, you were right to give it that oily machine look i often think even the good Endo models look too...sparkling, with no lived in look. I wonder how long these modifications took you most that improve on this Endo only chrome all the parts but don't improve the anatomy any. did you buy this with a view to improvising it or were you going to leave it as it came originally?.
This custom design actually was done rather quickly in about couple weeks. This specific Endo is actually was one the very first ones I bought when they first came out. Back then I was only looking to chrome them with some mild mods. Now I want to customize it as much as possible to bring out all the best details and make them each unique.
@@endot800 I would have only one critisism, & that is the jaw is still off a bit, to...big some how, BUT I'm sure that what can be improved upon has it's limits
GREAT WORK! Would you be able to tell me how you did the custom eyes please?... I want to buy two of these from Ebay and mod the eyes so that they stay on until I turn them off. Please sir, your help would be greatly appreciated ❤❤❤
We'll with this version you are not so worried about making mistakes since the damage is part of the makeover. I ended up reposing his head to a position that I like better.

Thanks!!! Base is custom made from scratch. Skulls were purchased from Etsy.
@@endot800 Thank you so much
Nice work 😁😎
Thanks! Enjoying all your work as well.

Would definitely like more details on the process of weathering the endo! And how you changed to eyes.
I concur. A ‘how to’ video.

@@endot800 , fantastic work!! I’m actually thinking of customizing my 1/4 hot toys endo at some point.

In the matter of proprtions, it's made correctly, the shoulders are'nt too wide like most of t800 models have, proportions are perfectly sized
GREAT WORK!

You will need to take the head apart and wiring in an external power source to the battery compartment.
Boss I wish I had the skills to custom mine like this !

...so u damaged the chrome version? Now it's irreversible... Great works anywayz!
There is no chrome version. Chroming was part of the conversion. I already have several chrome endos so I wanted something different.
